Stopped by the McDonald’s inside Indianapolis airport for some hash browns during breakfast hours. It’s more of a small booth-style setup rather than a full restaurant, but it gets the job done. They had self-checkout kiosks available, which helped move things along quickly. The only disappointment was not being able to use the McDonald’s app for discounts, which felt like a missed opportunity (and overpriced). Overall, operations were efficient and smooth, and as with most airport spots, bathrooms and parking are shared with the terminal.

This location has gotten so slow in the early morning needs more employees

There’s never any employees to actually help you. They all are in the back, bring an order out and call the name, they wait 5 seconds and if you aren’t there to grab it they disappear behind the wall again with your order. Then you have to wait again until they come out with another order. Nobody working the counter for cash payments, to make sure orders are correct and customers are happy. Oh, AND if you do get to speak to an employee they won’t have any idea what you’re saying because not a single one of them speaks english. You can’t use any rewards or deals, the employees don’t know how to refund you or cancel your order if it’s wrong or taking too long, and the manager also doesn’t speak a word of english. The food is cold 9 times out of 10, and it takes minimum of 10 minutes to get anything you order. There’s a Chick Fil A right next door, and more food options past TSA that are way, way better. This McDonalds needs to close down and give us a different fast food place.

Horrible, can't speak English! Food orders always wrong! Lots of horseplay back there always. Called to tell what was supposedly the manager.. they couldn't speak English well either! Told me don't tell them how it is, just don't come in! Unprofessional trash!

States on McDonald's website that all McDonald's are supposed to allow deals and rewards..not this one!! Toke it all away!! How come the airport has different rules then the regular McDonald's??

Finally got the Hello Kitty Dark Magician that completes my set. Worker was kind enough to look for it for me. He initially gave me a Time Wizard but when I told him it was incorrect, the lady was super nice and gave me the right one. They gave me apples that were pass the expiration date. Can't use reward points at this location. It's also pricier than other McDonald's.

I ordered right when they opened the gate at 4:30am, by 5:01am still no food, I asked about my order and was told it was coming soon, then my order # disappeared off of both screens, I didn’t have time to argue for a refund, I wasn’t the only one waiting, I had to get through TSA and catch a flight. This may be better located in the terminal rather then the food court.
