The parking is, meh.. The food however, spectacular. Definitely worth the hike or bike ride there if you’re local— you SOL if you’re arriving in any vehicle outside of something the size of a Smart Car.
Family owned Hole in the wall mom n’ pop spot that delivers authentic Mexican cuisine. Tacos, sopas, loaded carne asada fries, chocoflan… everything we had was delicious. Desserts are homemade too. Definitely recommend checking this eatery out if you are in the area. We look forward to returning.

La Cocina De Chuy is the best Mexican place around, with amazing food and friendly service. Their asada tacos and horchata are delicious, and the voodoo seasoning on the food is unbeatable. Despite limited seating, the staff is welcoming, and even for large orders, like one for 25 people, they ensure excellent packaging and a flavorful experience. This spot is a must-visit for fresh, tasty Mexican meals.
