Mizu Sushi & Hibachi Express

There's a tiny little dining area in the front with a few tables, but this is really a take-out place, and that's just fine.

The sushi they make here is some of the best you can get in the whole city, and I've eaten my share enough to know. The rolls are tight and well-formed, the rice is perfectly cooked, and the fish is fresh and served in generous portions. Their specialty rolls are as delicious as they are inventive, and the bites are never too big to fit in your mouth (too many sushi places in Indiana think unfeasably large bites = impressive).

Their prices are also super affordable. It's fancy dine-in sushi for hole-in-the-wall money, and it's become our favorite in town. Friendly note to potential customers: call or order online through their website for take-out - DoorDash inflates their prices by almost 90%.

They have very good food. Especially the coconut chicken.It is wonderful, very good

Called in before my order since this was my first time and asked if their sesame chicken was crunchy and they said yes.

This was a lie. The sesame chicken is breaded just like how a sweet and sour chicken would be and then sauced up in some weird sauce that is not sesame sauce that you would expect. This is not sesame chicken.

Even if it was the right breading and a familiar sauce the value proposition is not there. I ordered a large portion and it came in a foam container. The chicken and the rice. The portion was smaller than what I'm used to getting at to other Chinese takeout places (this one says it's Japanese but it's the same menu)

Normally when I order Chinese takeout the portions are huge. The chicken is in one container and the rice in another. Not this one.

Whats really disappointing is that with a smaller portion, and a worse product they actually charge more for a meal than any other place I've visited!

There's a better place right across the street called Hong Kong that cooks everything right and you get great value.

The food here was nice, and I ate it all because I wasn't going to let that money go to waste, but I wouldnt reccomend this place over any other. I stayed hungry.

Food was great they gave me a call when it was done , this was the first place I went since I moved here no regrets. Try the bento box!

Maybe it was my mistake of getting General sos instead of steak but that was the worst food I’ve ever had. Had no crunch what’s so ever and tasted like microwave food. Was not worth the 30 dollars.

I picked up an order for door dash one time here and said id give the place a try .. boy was I blown away when I did try it!!! Melt in your mouth steak and chicken. Vegetables were soft rice was cooked to perfection. Service is the best you could get. If you're a hibachi express customer on 135 I highly recommend this place. We won't probably ever return to hibachi express after the amazing experience we had here. Mizu ROCKS.

This place is amazing. The take out hibachi tastes better than if you went and sat down at one of the nice hibachi restaurants. Plus it's half the price of the dine in places.

This is by far the best japanese place in Indy. I always get the bento box and the shrimp tempura roll. Went for my birthday and also got the deep fried cheesecake. It was amazing.

My goto south side local sushi spot. We've eaten from here more than a dozen times, and always good food. Order online, and it's ready in 20 mins. The store is a little small for in store dining (maybe 5 tables), but it's a quaint place nonetheless. Definitely recommend.

Great food perfect flavor and you get a very very large portion for your order. You will absolutely have Leftovers. I.
Just ordered the chicken and rice with no vegetables and two sides of yum yum sauce. Can't wait to try other items on the menu.
