Went here for lunch while in town for a conference. Despite being packed at lunch time, the service and the wait times were great! Our server was super friendly and the food was incredible. Highly recommend upgrading rice and beans to the street corn option.

It’s not often that you visit a restaurant whose name reflects the amount of care that goes into your visit. My wife and I went out for our first date night in quite a while after having a baby, and I made reservations for 5pm. When we arrived, the 2 hostesses didn’t even look up to greet us until we walked up and spoke to them, as they were preoccupied with their iPads. I doubt it was work related, as there weren’t that many people in the restaurant. When the main hostess did finally look up, she said “Hi…?”, and waited for me to tell her why we were speaking to each other. None of the rest of the staff wore any smiles either, and everyone seemed pretty obligated to be there…we joined that list after we ordered an appetizer. We were then led to a 2 top table crammed in between a pair of high school girls and an older couple. For having a reservation, one would expect to have a little privacy, especially considering the amount of private booths lining the walls. Our server arrived about 5 minutes after being seated to take our drink order, and I ordered an $8 can of craft beer. It was honestly the best thing about that evening, since I knew exactly what I was getting, albeit overpriced. My wife stuck with water; the only carafe of water we would get the entire duration of our visit. Once I informed the waiter (who would have clearly given anything to be anywhere else besides serving us) that I was going to stick with water after my high ABV craft beer, it was like he gave up.We ordered the Crispy Brussels for an appetizer, and they were decent, but small for 2 people. For mains, I ordered the 3 cheese enchiladas, my wife ordered the Mahi Baja tacos, and we ordered a side of street corn to share. The enchiladas were also very small, but the flavor was good. The Mahi tacos said nothing about cilantro on the menu, and my wife asked that the pico de gallo be left off (both of which my wife hates), yet they still came piled high with both - in fact, there was more of those than the fish or sauce. The street corn, and my wife’s included side of black beans and rice were both drenched in cilantro and lime, and therefore very unappetizing. We didn’t finish either of them. Also, the $9 street corn was about 1/2 cup of ingredients total. We were brought the $68 check on a nice quality wood check board with Nada cut into it and wood burned. I wish as much care went into the rest of the experience as was put into their check boards, but I digress. While we waited 10 more minutes for our disinterested waiter to come back to collect it, we were treated to their god awful selection of soul-less dance music, and when he did, he left into the back with my card, reappeared with food for 2 other tables, spoke to another server, and disappeared again into the back to bring more food, all before ending up at the server’s stand near our table. I really did not appreciate my card being held hostage whether it was carried around by someone I don’t know, or left sitting somewhere, whichever the case.My wife had been here about 10 years ago and loved it; I had never been. But needless to say, we will not likely be back for another 10 years, and that’s if the place is still around.

First and foremost, tyler was amazing .My wife ordered brussels sprouts and they were overcooked for her. Tyler brought out some more and they were better. We ordered my son, a fruit portion, and it was extremely overpriced. He liked the mack and cheese, but I thought it did not have much seasoning to it. He is and has much less requirements than me lolMy wife had some type of fish tacos. I think they were mahi-mahi and whatever sauce they used was flavorful. One Good thing, they accidentally brought a side of potatoes that did not belong to us. My wife immediately notified the server, and he said, you won’t have to pay for them due to our mistakes. I liked them better than the brussels sprouts. The spouts were not bad, but they were just a little overcooked and tasted a tad bit burnt for the first portion.I ordered the sizzling shrimp Vadas. Everything was bland as heck. The red sauce that came out with it was tasteless. The guacamole was OK.If my son did not have a rapidly approaching bedtime, I would have sent it back and got the same tacos that my wife ordered .But since I am conditioned to finish my plate, I ate what I could.Agsin, was great and I tipped a tad bit over 22%Additionally, the restaurant did a good job of getting us seated for our reservation. They did this, despite the influx of young adults celebrating their prom at that restaurant.I did like the vintage he-man display in the men’s restroom !!Dietary restrictions: Solid place for pescatarian, although their crab is imitation meatParking: There is a parking garage across the street. They did not validate parking though.Kid-friendliness: It’s well lit up and stimulating for kids

Absolutely will not being coming back here again. So expensive for what you get. They put a mandatory tip on our party of 6 people and didn’t inform us until the bill came out. Probably would have chosen a different restaurant if we were aware of that. I tried to leave a different amount and they still charged the full mandatory tip. What a waste. The Tamale Place in Indy is WAY better and authentic Mexican food. Would highly recommend over this place.

Extremely overpriced for the food. Service was below average. They threw a gratuity on the bill for a family of 6. And they over charged our card... almost any other restaurant within walking distance would be a better option, including the steak n' shake

The food was out of this world unfortunately we felt neglect by all waiter he brought the check at the end of our meal without even asking if we need it anything else we actually did besides that the hostess at the entrance of the restaurant was outstanding we gave her the tip

I took off a star for value only because we ordered fajitas and the tortillas were street taco size. The churros and cocktails were awesome! My daughter ordered a side of chicken and it looked dry and old. She was hoping to have something like we did on our fajita plates, but she got a cup of what looked like scraps from someone else's uneaten plate. Otherwise our service was great. We had Danielle. We will come back.

Our server didn't check on us very often. Food took over 35 minutes to be delivered to our table from when we placed our order. That's definitely not the standard for previous dine in experiences . Kept refilling our chips and by the time our food was delivered we were too full to enjoy our meals. Not complaining about the appetizer replenishment, but disappointed that we couldn't enjoy our meal when it finally arrived.
