First time going and it was à nice experience. Josh was very kind and took great care of me. The salad was amazing. I ordered a build your own calzone, a stromboli and a bread stick. The dough is amazing the salad was great. My only critique is my stromboli was dry on the inside I felt it needed sauce and cheese mixed all in like a glue to hold it all together. With no sauce and cheese throughout on the inside the toppings just spilled all over the place and the sauce would of helped cook the veggies more too. My onions were strong and raw. The cheese was just on the top. It was tasty and ill give it a 5 out of 10 the sauce throughout would of gave it a 10. Will i go back yes i will I'm eager to try more items.

THIS PLACE SCREWS UP DIETARY RESTRICTIONS
We ordered over the phone for take out. Picked out a sandwich that had no cheese in the ingredients list and also emphasized over the phone that the sub should have NO CHEESE. This was clearly stated just to be safe and again, it's not even listed in the ingredients. And yet, when the family member who drove out to get the food returned, we found the sub was covered in parmesan cheese. It can't be picked off and the sandwich is inedible. Even if we could get it replaced, it's not worth driving out again and we certainly won't be coming back.
If you have any kind of dietary concerns, don't trust this place to feed you.

There are places you like at first sight.
There are places you dislike at first sight.
And...
there are places you like at first sight but not so much on a second look.
Sadly, for us, Napolis was the third case.
The staff is certainly friendly, welcoming and very helpful. The clientele are mainly familiar repeat customers, often known to the staff by name. There is friendly banter and a great atmosphere.
The shop looks tiny from the outside but is surprisingly well laid out for maximum customer dining space. The place is quite clean, as well, at least the dining area.
After my initial highly positive impression, a few less positive details started to kick in.
The food was ordinary, perhaps mediocre, while prices were on the high side. I had a sausage calzone and my mother had a spinach one. Mine contained sausage and hers contained spinach.
End of story.
Nothing to see here,
please move along.
In the dining area, there was a TV turned to a televangelist program and it was loud. Each to their own preference but I would have preferred something quieter and less strident during my lunch break.
If you thought the dining area was compact, the restroom was even tinier, a walk-in water closet, if you will.
If you can find the restroom......
While visiting the restroom, I unfortunately saw into the kitchen. It wasn't unsanitary but it was disorganised and did not impress.
I love local, family run establishments and I like to support them but....
overall, I would have given a 2.5 stars, if that were an option.
Pro Tip
Find your way to the restrooms before you leave, around the far corner of the counter, through the stacks of soda bottles and almost in the kitchen. You will feel a bit like Indiana Jones .

Very little toppings, I paid for extra cheese and sauce and didn't get it. After looking at the pizza the guy put cheese on top and said it would melt with the steam because he couldn't put it back in the oven. I asked that it be cut in squares. They cut it the regular way and then went back and recut it into squares so you know what that looks like. Very small pieces. Not really a good pizza. I won't be returning.

Best Pizza place in Indiana by Far, most other places like papa johns and domino's don't compare to this place, fresh good pizza sold here and nice deals for big pizzas, I'd recommend asking for your pizza to be crispy as the bread taste even better then. Overall I'm a picky pizza eater and when I left Chicago this was the best place I found here in Indianapolis and haven't stopped going here since (Edit this place has gone downhill on the service, originally it was a older lady who delivered and a gentleman who spoke Spanish, very well mannered and spoken to customers. They’ve hired some younger guy who is so slow that I think mentally something’s wrong with him, he talks to you like disrespectfully, gotten so tired of the bs from them having him take the orders that I’ve stopped ordering and it sucks. Loved the place. Ordered weekly now I’m down to 1-3 times a year if I do order. Service has gone down hill and I really hope the owner lets him go or puts someone else on the phone. Can’t believe this dude says “we can’t do 1/4 of a pizza with the toppings you want” and then proceeds to explain to me “that’s only like 4 slices with toppings” you don’t say? That’s exactly what I asked for but you can tell math isn’t his thing based off his demeanor
UPDATE 5.30.2025
Service has gone to crap here, they still remain best in terms of quality of food, but the service from cashier, to the people that answer the phone, to the people who make the pizza is very nasty, not sure if it’s the owners family or just random workers but he needs to put his foot down, I know another family owned restaurant that in just a couple years have shot up to one of the most visited, and they all make really good money, consumers will not want to spend where they don’t feel welcomed, if you’ve never tried this pizza it is amazing, but sorry if your experience is horrible due to the younger ladies and younger men that have been employed there
