Palomino

Well, they're closing down tonight! Just got word! No dinner tonight but the bar is open. The bartenders are great and working hard despite the news. Met a kitchen worker who came in today and was told no work today because they are closing. Seemed okay with news but loved working there and hoping to go to work for Izzy & Harry's. Some other restaurant will scoop up this prime corner location and succeed! Too bad Palomino couldn't adapt and hit it out of the park...

This was a great Restaurant with excellent service. The manager isn't great. Never came to check on tables even though only about 15 tables were full on a Friday night. The waitstaff was great. Management doesn't have them push specials or the best on the menu but has them push the most expensive in each category so you cannot believe their recommendations. Very fancy place. Decor, lighting, style, etc is all beautiful and fancy. Staff is extremely friendly and kind, frequently joking with us and making us feel welcome and at home. Prime rib was perfect. Dessert was another highlight. All of the food was presented fancily and was very good. Great place to eat and not too terribly expensive.
