I guess Panera Bread is for those that go there all the time. For me, who does not, it was a mess figuring out how to be my own waitress and how things work there. The soup was ok, the sandwich was delicious.

Please don’t say an online order is ready when it is not. This has happened a few times now.

I ordered a dozen bagels. I went to go pick up my bagels at the counter and the cashier just handed me a big bag. The cashier told me that they didn't have any bagel containers. They also didn't give me my receipt; and they had the nerve to ask me for a tip when I paid for my order.

The service was very slow on this day. Waiting 45 minutes to get my order.

What happened to Panera? It used to be one of the best run restaurants, now it's just a mess. First this location parking lot and walk is filthy, at 8AM the one person behind the counter greets me with "I'll be back in a minute". Five minutes later he comes back I ask if they have scones and he proceeds to list all the things they don't have. Enough said

It was close to closing time when I arrived and they were out of all the soups, this was reasonable it was a cold Friday evening and they were running a promo with soups only 1 dollar! I ordered a fuji apple salad, but they were out of apple chips, so I was allowed to substitute another fruit. My only complaint is that sweeping while people are eating is weird to me. Why do restaurants allow that to take place? The women who was seeeping wasn't right next to people eating, just mentioning it.Lastly. I wish thus location woukd get a drive thru!

I had a horrible experience at the Panera Bread on East 56th. I ordered $80 worth of food, about 5 meals.First issue was, I specifically asked the cashier to make my sandwich to go, and the chicken teriyaki bowl to go, a d the rest for dine in. Well, they swapped it. The chicken teriyaki bowl was in a bowl on a tray and so was my sandwich, the dining in items were all wrapped to go instead of on a tray.Second issue, I finally arrived at the airport to tear into my sandwich and it wS not even sliced in half. It's too big for that and I don't have a knife since I'm at the airport. It would have been nice to share it with my son,but doing the whole, " I take a bite, then you take a bite" wasn't going to work.Third issue and most important is that ordered a bbq chicken smokehouse sandwich and I believe it's one of the more expensive sandwiches, and what I'm eating write now is some pesto sauce deli turkey sandwich with little-to-no-meat and a bunch of soggy lettuce and two sliced of tomatoes for a 12" sandwich.Panera you can do better than this! Train up a "teen" in the way that they should go, and....""
