Wow. I stopped in today because I saw the crusts of pots & pans’ pies briefly on social media and it’s not every day you see a crust that has that volume and shine and looks that golden brown. I had to try. It has been a year since I had this epiphany and only stopped in today, 11/16/2025. I’m upset that I haven’t tried sooner.
First, I had the most easygoing welcoming experience. No pressure, just able to browse. There was someone stocking the pies and typically I don’t want to be in anyone’s way so I rush to get what I want and get out. But not this time just so happens because I wanted to see all the offerings, read the ingredient list, etc.
The person stocking was so kind, so gracious, and very affirming of the options I had already picked. She had me go with the green hatch chili take-and-bake pie and I am endlessly grateful I did. It was spicy but well balanced and full of hearty veggies, warm spices, and plenty of protein. Just beyond impressed. It felt like a warm hug! And the crust—dexterous enough to be mixed in with the filling and not lose its texture or flavor—it was insanely delicious. I also got a piece of the sweet potato pie—I unfortunately did not look at the ingredients fast enough but the topping….was it torched marshmallow fluff? Or an insanely well crafted meringue? I couldn’t quite place it but it was beyond dreamy. The maple pecan pie was also fabulous and affirmed by the person stocking—which is also so nice of a touch in customer service. I loved the whole experience. Thoughtful, delicious, wholesome. Can’t wait to tell all my Indy friends and visit many many more times!!
Use to love this place. Quality has dropped drastically. Too many times the pies have little to no meat in them. Nothing like fixing one for dinner and only having crust with some potatoes and a few veggies to eat.

Taking a bite of the pear frangipane as I write this, I think it's my new favorite of your frangipane pies (but I will gladly try the others, for science). Can't wait to cut into the pumpkin cream later tonight.
Also, I just wanted to mention how thorough the clerk was in explaining to the man before me, who I let cut me in line, that the reheating instructions on the box should be disregarded, as the pie is best served cold, or perhaps room temperature. I wanted to point this out because this man in the pink shirt only gave monosyllabic answers to her helpful questions, and seemed annoyed at the time it was taking to get his pie. If he calls to complain after burning his SUGAR cream pie in the oven, please direct him to this review.

The banana cream pie is delicious!
The older lady was rude, the younger one was helpful. The old lady was more concerned about who was on my phone and what they were talking about than helping me. The pies were burnt and I saw that when I went back to the truck. I came back to inquire and she wanted to see and said it was the jam... Why is there jam burnt on the bottom when there is NONE inside the pastry?!? She said they were all the same with red pepper that's all she kept saying but there were two types two of those burnt ones which we lost half the pastry cutting that part off. The others were jalapeno and cream cheese, the last was cat food or something in there. Idk what that was but it was a weird flavor.
Wasn't a fan of the apple crumble and I hate root beer but they tossed in the minis to get rid of them but that was the only thing able to be eaten the rest of them hand pies were dry and had a filing in the last one was not able to be identified it was a creamy mess inside. I won't be doing pies any time soon but when I do it won't be from this location. If it wasn't for the young lady I would not have added 4 stars for the atmosphere and two for the service.

Ordered on Door Dash. Wasn't super clear that it was frozen. Why would I order a frozen pot pie. From the time I ordered until the time I was going to eat would have been 2 hours. No one wants to run their oven in the summer. Bake it yourself Pot & Pans and serve it hot. If I wanted to bake a pot pie myself, I would have gone to Kroger Also, they said they had the oatmeal cream pies but they were out of stock.

Pots and Pans Pie Co did mini pies for the dessert table at my wedding reception. They were outstanding and many of my guests commented on them. Definitely recommend!
Everything here is either great or amazing. The price may seem a little high but it is well worth it when you eat it. Cannot rate higher.

I tried the Sugar Creme Brulee Pie and Peaches & Almond Cream Pie. The pies are exceptional with a flaky, buttery crust and well-balanced fillings. There's a wide variety of savory pies also like mac and cheese and pork chili
