This place is for real coffee lovers and people just trying to use the wifi and get out of their houses. Way too many people camping in this place on a weekend afternoon. The place looks just like it's pictured.

Nice open space with huge windows. Typically offers 2 varieties of drip coffee (plus all the other variations of coffee you would expect).

It’s my go-to place for a weekly croissant run, on the way to the public library :) The chocolate croissants are always so fresh and yummy!

I really enjoy Quills. Although it's not based in indianapolis, this is still a roaster and they serve their own coffee both as beverages or bagged. Large selection of single origins. Their Ethiopian is high quality, great fruitiness, makes wonderful pour over. Their blends are fun as well. Prefer this location over previous 9 on canal location as it feels more personalized to them as a coffee shop. Plenty of seating. Parking street side and a lot across if just want to run in and out. Cold brew strong and smooth. Hours extend into evening to likely accommodate college crowd in downtown indy. Often in overlooked in regards to indy coffee scene, likely due to being based out of Louisville. In that top tier of roasters, though, alongside likes of Calvin fletcher, tinker, helm, certain feelings.

I was in town for work and needed a nice coffee shop to pop in, grab a quick pick me up, and get a bit of work done. I've been to a Quills in Louisville, so when I discovered on Yelp that there was one close to my hotel, I didn't hesitate to make my way there. I loved that the place has a ton of natural light, a great variety of seating options, the staff was friendly, my latte was delicious, and the croissant I got was perfect. They also had strong wifi, plenty of places to plug my laptop in, and let me tell you... this coffee shop is big with a ton of space which was another thing I really enjoyed about it. They definitely passed the vibe check for me and I would totally come back.

We visit this coffee shop about once a month and I find the baristas always less than welcoming. I've gotten some okay lattes and I do like the china cups. They didn't even let me know my coffee was ready and they were not busy. Not worth the price of you're looking for a friendly local shop.

Showed up at 8:30am on a Saturday and the location was closed, despite their signs saying they open at 7am. Not sure if staff didn’t show up or something else is going on.

Beautiful, spacious location to study and have a coffee date! I got the alchemist which reminded me of a Mexican hot chocolate. Rich espresso with a hint of cayenne!

Great atmosphere and friendly staff but was disappointed with my chai and muffin. I ordered a 16oz chai and 6-8oz of it was just foam. The muffin was collapsed and very wet/doughy in the middle. Everything tasted fine but it seemed like folks were all on board with cutting corners. I won’t be returning.

I'm not a coffee person. The other patrons looked like they were enjoying theirs. I went to find tea. I didn't find tea, but I found Mexican Coca Cola. They have tasty blueberry muffins. This place has a trendy vibe. It's clean and bright. Many were taking advantage of WiFi.

Great coffee but unfriendly staff. You could definitely tell that the gentleman that helped me this morning did not want to be there.

We loved our morning at Quills coffee! My husband got a drip coffee which tasted great without any sugar or cream. I had a matcha latte iced and a horchata which was amazing. I also tried the veggie breakfast wrap which was small in size but big in flavor. It was easy to find a seat by a window to talk or get some work done. We even took some beans home to make our own coffee for the week. We are looking forward to our next trip back!
