There was only one table seated when we came in and five in total when we left. Service was atrociously slow. We asked for drink refills three times and they never arrived. I had to take our drinks to the bar to get them refilled. Food was good and server was extremely polite, but he seemed lost or confused the entire time. Hopefully, he is just learning and someone can help him as he learns and improves. There was another server handling 1 table and he seemed extremely efficient. The table he served came in after us and two other tables, but he was able to get the family at his table served appetizers, dinner, refilled drinks and bread, and bring their dessert before three of our server's table received their entrees, or refills on drinks or bread.

Happy Hour and Girls night out was wonderful. Our server Justin R provided exemplary service. We were there three hours and it was perfect from beginning to end. This young man is a testament of excellent service. He took pride in his job and he should be recognized.

We walked in… Young man at the door sat us at the bar. No bartender. Ten minutes later two people . Big black lady bald head and bald headed white man sat at the bar having personal conversations never greeted us or said anything. We. Sit five more minutes. They continue to talk. Look at us a few times. We decide to leave. As we walk out they watch us leave and say nothing. Hire ups run the tapes back we came in around 7:40 and left at 7:56 NO SERVICE!!!!!. You have no business and your staff doesn’t care when the few people that actually come in to eat and tip…. Zero stars is what you deserve.

Parking: We visited for family dinner. My granddaughter selected this place.
It's been a while since i've been there so I said okay. This once was a go to spot for seafood. now I regret going.
Utterly disappointed at the service at the quality of the food. The hotness of the food, the taste of the food. I got the lobster baked potato and was very disappointed at How it was prepared. A medium sized potato with a spoonful of lobster bisque on top. Extremely disappointing. My grand daughter loved her Mac and cheese and Broccoli. The girl ate like we never feed her or it was a long school day.
I will avoid this restaurant going forward. Sad to say. 😪

Our group of three visited the Red Lobster in Castleton on Saturday, February 1st, at 6:00 PM, and unfortunately, our experience was less than satisfactory.

Upon arrival, the host station appeared disorganized and overwhelmed, despite the restaurant being only slightly over half full with numerous empty tables. The host at the station barely acknowledged arriving guests and was not welcoming. This initial impression set the stage for a frustrating evening.

While our server was polite and helpful, the service was exceptionally slow. We placed our order and were informed that the biscuits would be out shortly. "Shortly" turned into 15 minutes, with the server eventually refilling the biscuit basket twice while we waited for our main courses.

After a staggering 50+-minute wait, we inquired about our food. We were told that a large party had caused a kitchen backlog. Our server then disappeared for 20 minutes, forcing us to flag down another server who offered the same backlog excuse. Finally, after more than an hour, our food arrived. When asked if everything looked alright, we expressed our dissatisfaction with the excessive wait time. The server apologized and said he would speak to a manager.

However, no manager ever approached our table. Instead, we witnessed a manager visit the table behind us (who arrived after us) to apologize for their wait time. This added to our feeling of mismanagement and frustration.

Adding to the frustration, the busser repeatedly sprayed a cleaner so heavily that it created a lingering cloud you could taste. We had to ask a passing server to intervene and request that the busser refrain from spraying while we were eating. The server apologized, stating that this practice was not permitted, and said they would address the issue.

After nearly two hours at the restaurant, we requested the check. Our server inquired if a manager had spoken to us, and we explained that no one had. He then checked with someone and returned with a discount on our bill. While appreciated, it didn't make up for our lost time and the overall poor experience.

Beyond the slow service and mismanagement, the cleanliness of the restaurant was also a concern. The floor in our section was littered with wrappers and crumbs. This visible mess raised questions about the overall cleanliness and food safety practices of the establishment.

Overall, our visit to the Castleton Red Lobster was extremely disappointing. This was a stark contrast to previous positive experiences at this location. The disorganization, slow service, lack of managerial response, and cleanliness issues created a negative impression of a mismanaged establishment.
