Smells like mildew inside, like eating in an old basement.Card machine didn't work.Bottle Coke was expired and the taste was off.Horchata was basically water with a mild rice flavor.Birria tacos were decent, but half the meat was chunks of fat.Rice was good.Place was deserted on a weekday at noon. I can see why. Won't be back.

2-23-2024 I ordered a meal at this establishment. Before paying for my order...I asked the employee/cashier if the taco salad was as delicious as it appeared on the menu. Ofcourse he reassured me the 'Roi Taco Salad' was one of the best. I Will now define myself as a former customer of Roi Taco. When I arrived home - I immediately noticed the Taco Salad was NOT delicious at all. The content in the shell was minimal and flavor less.I basically paid $11.45 for an enormous taco shell & very little else to fill the inside of the shell. I came across the new busline construction on E 38th St to sample the Restaurant's TACO SALAD only to be sorely disappointed. I will Not Return!!!!!!

Ordered online for pick-up through Clover. Doordash said they were closed. I couldn't find them on Uber Eats, despite the fact that the website says they use the platform. The restaurant couldn't find my order. I didn't have time to wait. Called Clover to get a refund. They said they couldn't help me, that they don't provide support for orders placed through their service, that I had to contact the merchant. The merchant who couldn't find my order.The website also says they're open for breakfast, but I've never seen them open in the morning, and Doordash says they don't open until 10.The food looks great, and I was looking forward to having another restaurant close to work, after Subway closed. I will probably give them another chance if it seems their online ordering and consistency improves.
