We originally discovered Salamat Cookies at the Fishers Farmers’ Market. It was so awesome to find a Filipino small business. Their flavors are so unique, and we’ve been big fans ever since we moved to Indiana in 2021. Best ube drink to ever exist. I personally like mine a little less sweet so the owner was kind enough to suggest to add coffee to it. Wonderful people and amazing food for sure. I just wish they were open on weekends or evenings because it’s hard to make it during work hours.
These are some of the best baked goods I’ve ever had. Our local coffee shop carries the brownies. The first time I bought one, I figured it was a gimmick thing I’d split with my daughter. The moment I tried it, I knew I wouldn’t be sharing. I had no choice but to walk back into the store and buy the last three. A few months later they came out with the ube cookie. I swear, they just keep getting better. Everyone I know is getting a box of these for Valentine’s Day.
