I recently tried this restaurant and unfortunately, I was disappointed with most of the food. The dishes I ordered tasted spoiled and were overcooked, which really took away from the experience. The one bright spot was the pikliz — it was fresh, flavorful, and had the right amount of spice. If the rest of the menu matched that quality, it would have been a much better meal. Even my dog didn’t eat it.

I want to start by saying the 18-year-old cashier was phenomenal wish I could address him properly, but idk his name, so kind and professional, truly a standout. That said, the food didn’t quite meet expectations. The oxtails lacked flavor and didn’t fall off the bone as hoped, and the red snapper was underwhelming. The hot sauce helped a bit, but overall, the meal didn’t justify the $80 price tag in my opinion.

Eat like home, great food, and a great atmosphere for any occasion .
I’m so disappointed tried to call to order food an the lady kept hanging up I assume she didn’t know English so sad cause I really wanted to try food
Probably losing so much business because of this reason
Chocking Hazard. Worst Tasso Kabrit I’ve ever had. the Akra was soft, but everything was super dry. The goat and plantain felt like they had been frying depi 1804. 8 out 10 pieces of goat still had rough skin on it. And the goat still had that earthy/gamey aroma that should’ve been felt with during the cleaning and cooking process. The tomatoes were tired and the lettuce was discolored.
Sitting area was super clean and place was empty when I picked up my plate of dry ass food so I can’t really speak on the atmosphere.
Worse Haitian restaurant in Indianapolis if you people can't cook why you go get a job from the whare house you guys just ashame for our culture

The fried food was very dry. We didn't even get out drinks till half way through the meal. The server wasn't even a worker. It was just a friend and wasn't around when we needed them.

The customer service was nice, but it was super slow and we were rhe only customers. It seemed as though there were employees just sitting around letting one person work. The pork shoulder was charred and flavorless. The drinks were room temperature at best. Definitely not worth the price

Cleanliness of the place was up to par. The dishes were well presented and very tasty (finger licking good!). Nice non loud atmosphere. Customer service was great! Me and my family definitely become loyal customers because we love and enjoy the whole nine yards.
Definitely will recommend it to family and friends so go check it out y’all.

I hate giving blackmowned establishments bad reviews. However, this time, it is warranted. To start, I called this place to ask if they had curry chicken as I really wanted Jamaican food. They young guy on the phone paused so long I thought I was hung up on. As I kept saying hello and he not responding. He finally speaks and says, "Yea it's a Caribbean restaurant what do you think" I was shocked at his tone as I am reading the menu online, it doesn't mention so I called to ask to be certain. Even with his rudeness, I decided to drive 20 mins to this restaurant to try the oxtail dinner. The second I walked in this business has a dirty mop water smell. It was overpowering that I couldn't imagine eating here, although it looked rather clean. A little girl was running around the establishments. There was no one inside, so she had to have been the owners child. The young guy I spoke to on the phone was also at the desk. Headphones on, feet on the desk, and didn't give 2 cents about us standing there waiting for him to take our to go order. When he finally looked up, he came at us with so much conviction that it felt like we were interrupting and inconveniencing him. At that point, I decided to just leave. The establishment stunk so bad that I could have imagined what the BOH looked like. His attitude and demeanor were so rude that I just couldn't bare spending money that I worked so hard for at an establishment who didn't want me there. So needless to say, I didn't try one dish and don't plan on even giving them a second chance. As a business, customer service should be top tier... this one lacks terribly.
Reply to the management: so I'm going to guess that you skipped the part where I said I WALKED INTO YOUR ESTABLISHMENT. Save face elsewhere and change your mop water before mopping your floors....you are also right you had nothing that Inwould have wanted.to eat including the Oxtail that is CLEARLY ON YOUR MENU. The not was I not paid for this review neither was the food at your restaurant...good day!
