The hidden gem in Garfield Park! Unique and amazing food, STELLAR Bartenders, welcoming to everyone and weekly events! Why go anywhere else!!
Our first visit here and we will definitely be back! In the current feel of today’s climate, we wanted to go somewhere we felt comfortable. Shelby Street Tavern fit the need where others failed. John and Conner (sorry for any misspellings) were amazing. I think we found a new go to spot!

Shelby Street Tavern offers a welcoming and modern atmosphere, with a clean and relaxed interior. The food menu, though small, features tasty options like the chicken, bacon, and ranch pizza, though the BBQ sauce topping was a bit unusual. The bar has a good selection of drinks, and the drinks are nicely poured and delish. The vibe is great for spending time with friends, and the upper level deck provides a nice outdoor space to watch what's going on at the Dinner Bell. The service is attentive and friendly, and the spacious seating upstairs and downstairs makes it a comfortable spot. The wings are considered phenomenal and some of the best around, and the burger and fries are also very tasty. The friendly bartender and involved owners create a positive experience for customers. Overall, the tavern provides a pleasant dining and drinking experience with reasonable prices for the quality of the food and drinks. Recently, customers have enjoyed a lively karaoke session, with some trying it for the first time, along with themed nights like Hangover brunch Sunday and live music on weekends. The atmosphere is inclusive and friendly, making it a favorite neighborhood bar for many.
