The food is typically good here, always has been, however, the customer service here is horrible. No matter if you call in, walk in, or order online you will wait a long time for your food. Workers just don't move with any urgency whatsoever. Once they get your money, the couldn't care less how long you wait. Horrible.

Order four lunch specials two cat fish and two perch. Only to get home they was all the same all cat fish. Who does that called back to tell them no sir you ordered all cat fish.smh I will NEVER go back again.💯🤬

I ordered a family catfish and I think i got hoodwinked. It was ok but that wasn’t catfish. It taste and looked just like Swai. And I bet if I came in that kitchen that’s exacerbated it is. Y’all owe me….. And fix that damn floor board that’s missing under that rug. You getting to much money sis

If you want the best gumbo greens in the city then visit Shrimp Hut off 38th and Emerson!! Go get you 2 side orders of gumbo and 2 side orders of greens and mix it!!! Thank me later!!

I would never go here again, this was my first time here and when I walked in it was three customers in there, I placed my order for 12 jumbo shrimp and a side order of fried green tomatoes @ 8:12 pm I didn’t get my order until 9:02pm the service lady was great but waiting damn near an hour for food is crazy I would never spend another dollar here and the food gave me the runs for two days and as a chef myself I should’ve stuck with my first mind and making a sub sandwich at home with a side of chips, please don’t waste your time here cause I almost fell asleep waiting on my order I don’t know if the staff was new or they had kids cooking but the food was a 4/10 never again
