This place is great but they never open on time it’s 11:10 and I’ve been waiting for 10mins nothing on the IG no one answers and I need last minute cupcakes

We got cupcakes for my wedding and everyone RAVED about them. They have their standard daily flavors and then have a list of over 100 speciality flavors that they rotate between throughout the year and for your order, you can choose between any of them as long as you get at least dozen. We had two of their standard flavors (Hot Fudge Sundae and Caramel Crunch) and then ordered Apple Crisp, Rolo, Fruit Tartlet, and Pink Champagne. They were truly delicious and I'm so glad I chose Smallcakes.

Jessica was super helpful and helped order this amazing birthday cake. Raspberry chocolate truffle profile. It had cute little chocolate building blocks on it and was just rich, decadent, and tasty. The cake was moist and held up really well while traveling to my destination.

Parking: Because of it's location in broadripple, parking can be a challenge. There are a couple of places close by that are free and you can walk, or there are other pay spaces that are a bit closer.

I called the broadripple location the day before to get a list of the daily flavors as I was trying to choose flavors for a birthday. Unfortunately when I arrived a bit after opening at least 3 or 4 of those flavors weren't available and many of the non-chocolate flavors only had 2 cupcakes or less available. I thought that by going right at opening time I would have the most selection. In the future, I'll probably go to the broad ripple location. Cupcakes are pretty good so far just a bit disappointed with availability.

Cupcakes are awesome. I also love the chocolate chip cookie sandwiches.

I've been a regular to this store since moving to the Indy area and this is my favorite place to get a sweet treat! I love the unique flavors of the ice cream and cupcakes! The texture of the ice cream is very smooth and reminds me of gelato a bit! The cupcakes have the perfect amount of icing that doesn't overwhelm and the cake is always very moist! Both ladies at the front have been so kind and the service is always great!! Love the music, the atmosphere is wonderful!

7/12/24 The service was very poor. Our first time in and as good as the cupcakes were the service we received will make me NEVER come back. She didn’t smile, I had to ask her a question 2x as she acted as if she didn’t hear me and just flat out had no personality to be interacting with customers on the frontline!!!! Great cupcakes if u can get passed the loss poor attitude. Service gets zero stars!

A wonderful treat after a long day! The peanut butter brownie and the cookies and cream cupcakes were fantastic! And, they have ice cream to beat the heat.

Kid-friendliness: Everything is easy to see and select for kiddos to find something they like. The cupcakes were not too sweet and easy to share.

I noticed a lot of cake reviews on here. I used to get my daughter’s birthday cake here every year but when I went to order her graduation cake they said they are under new ownership and won’t be doing cakes until at least the fall. We were really disappointed because they had the best cakes. I hope they stay the same quality and service. Some of my other favorite places went downhill when they were bought out. The previous owner was fantastic and always helpful.

The only store I know with multiple flavors with vegan and dairy free options. Everything is marked clearly and the store is clean. No waits either.

These are the absolute best dairy (and gluten) free cupcakes in the Indianapolis area.If going for dairy free: in my opinion the gluten free are better than the vegan cupcakes. The vegan cupcakes are drier, but the gluten free are moist.My favorites: strawberry, lemon drop, red velvet.

Vegetarian options: They have vegan cupcakes made up. If they don't have the kinds you need, then you can order other flavors to be made. You can also order vegan cakes to be made etc.

Cupcakes are delicious. Even 3 days later they are still super moist. They make gluten free as well.
