“We got it TO-Go This are first time trying it and I will say this was so Good 😊 yes cash only but he said there was a ATM in there Anyway let’s talk about this food. I got the fried chicken and smothered chicken yes I’m indecisive so I got both it came at four sides each and this cornbread was amazing 🥲 like cry cause imma so fat later. All of it was amazing I love the corn casserole 10/10 take my money !!! Also, I got dessert. I got a red velvet and a lemon cake Both was a hit absolutely amazing“

“Delicious food. We got 2 meals and everything was perfect. Every side was cooked and seasoned perfectly. It needed nothing added, and I usually add some kind of seasoning or sauce to everything I eat. You can tell it’s made with love 💕You might wait a little while to order if you don’t place your order online, because it’s very popular, but it’s well worth it! We will definitely be back!“
“I can honestly say this is the best food I’ve had in a long time. Not only was the food amazing, but the customer service was excellent. Nikki was one of the best servers I’ve experienced in a while. The drinks were bomb and the music was jamming too!

“I recently visited His Place Eatery while in Indianapolis and decided to try something a little different — the grilled collard greens and cheese sandwich with sweet potatoes, plus an additional side of collard greens.
The collard greens grilled cheese is a great and creative concept. My only concern was that the greens were a bit too juicy, which made the sandwich soggy. Because of that, it’s probably not something I would order again personally.
That said, the food overall was very tasty, and the flavors were on point. The collard greens and sweet potatoes were well-seasoned and enjoyable. I appreciate the creativity and soul put into the dishes.
The atmosphere felt relaxed and welcoming, making it a good spot if you're craving traditional comfort food.
I'll most definitely revisit and try other items on the menu!

“Food was amazing , fresh and hot and the price was reasonable. When I say it was so good 😊 yummy 😋 we got fish, oxtails, ribs, pork chops, rib tips, greens, Mac n cheese, white beans, chitterlings was so tender and good everything was great“

“While on a family trip to Indianapolis, some local friends brought me here and said it was the BEST fried fish in Indy. I was NOT disappointed. The ambiance is very casual and quaint. Really great service and the food is exceptional. We started with hush puppies and fried mushrooms and they were incredible. My main course was the Fried Perch Platter and it was beyond delicious. Seriously one of the best seafood plates I've ever tasted. I ended my visit with a slice of the strawberry cake and had to take a slice to go it was that great!!! Highly recommend this place!“

“We wanted something tasty, fast, and close by. Just Like Sunday was it! Everything was delectable, spicy, soulful, and reasonably priced. Great portions coupled with great customer service. I can’t believe we are just finding out about this place. We’re telling everybody. This place is da bom dot com!“
“I finally got the chance to stop in to check them out at the Central Library, and my experience could not have been better! The lovely barista was so lovely to chat with, and the mocha was beyond belief! The perfect blend of chocolate and coffee, without being super sweet. And the prices are very reasonable, compared to many of the local shops around downtown. Do yourself a favor, go to the library, grab yourself a book, and try their coffee! They also have a seating area, so you can enjoy a nice, quiet moment to yourself, should you like. Next time I'll get some food as well, and will report back on that. (I will say, even though I didn't eat, the smells at the cafe were heavenly, so I imagine it will be a delightful meal!) Thanks again, and stay wonderful!“
