“Five stars – A truly exceptional birthday celebration! We finally had the chance to dine at Root & Bone for the very first time, and it was well worth the wait. I had been saving this visit for a special occasion—my partner Michael’s 65th birthday—and I’m so glad I did. Everything about the experience exceeded our expectations. The food was absolutely delicious—every dish bursting with flavor and clearly crafted with care. Watching the kitchen through the open window was a joy in itself. You could see the pride and attention each chef put into their work, and every plate that came out looked like a masterpiece. What truly elevated the evening, though, was the incredible service. Our server, Imani, was warm, attentive, and knowledgeable. She took time to understand our preferences, walked us through the menu in detail, and made thoughtful recommendations that hit the mark. Her presence tied everything together so gracefully and made us feel genuinely cared for. Michael was delighted from start to finish, and I could not have asked for a better way to mark this milestone. Root & Bone has officially become a new favorite, and we cannot wait to return. “It was my first time visiting the establishment. We were warmly greeted and seated right away. Our wait staff was so attentive and sweet. He made sure he secured the last sweet potato cheesecake since what I originally ordered was discontinued. Our order was taken right away snd it did not take long for our food to be delivered to our tsble. We were checked on throughout our meal. I ordered the tips which were well seasoned and tender, collard greens and mac and cheese. Everything was delicious . “I finally got the chance to stop in to check them out at the Central Library, and my experience could not have been better! The lovely barista was so lovely to chat with, and the mocha was beyond belief! The perfect blend of chocolate and coffee, without being super sweet. And the prices are very reasonable, compared to many of the local shops around downtown. Do yourself a favor, go to the library, grab yourself a book, and try their coffee! They also have a seating area, so you can enjoy a nice, quiet moment to yourself, should you like. Next time I'll get some food as well, and will report back on that. (I will say, even though I didn't eat, the smells at the cafe were heavenly, so I imagine it will be a delightful meal!) Thanks again, and stay wonderful!“

“Although the servers are supposed to be rude, the interactions were much more toned down than I expected. The interior decorations were more surprising...Overall, it's a good experience. Finding a parking space was more of a nightmare compared to the service, especially when I was visiting on the weekend with events happening nearby.“

“If you love light lunches without having to grab a salad, this is definitely a great place, especially if you love chicken salad. They're variations are impressive and it's very tasty! The inside of the restaurant is so adorable. Very girly! Service was top notch and we'll definitely visit again“

“We got it TO-Go This are first time trying it and I will say this was so Good 😊 yes cash only but he said there was a ATM in there Anyway let’s talk about this food. I got the fried chicken and smothered chicken yes I’m indecisive so I got both it came at four sides each and this cornbread was amazing 🥲 like cry cause imma so fat later.
