We were taken care of by Bob. It was the end of he day, we were probably even after hours. They were cleaning up stuff. But he did take care of us. The food was good. Good chicken burrito tacos, bean salad and awesome chicken wings. We didn't have any drinks. We were super hungry as just needed some good food.
Indianapolis airport doesn't have much options for good food on the B gates.
We r very thankful to Bob for this gesture, as our flights were delayed and a total mess, so if we hadn't got any food at Indy Airport, we would have been empty stomach throughout.

Thanks again.

Airport restaurants and bars all seem to be about the same in terms of food and atmosphere. So, when it comes to reviewing, something needs to stand out. Having had lunch at Sun King in the airport several times now, the thing that always stands out for me is that the servers/bartenders are always so friendly. It was the case again on my last visit. They just make you feel good about waiting in an airport. Another great thing about this location above other restaurant bars is the full selection of Sun King Brewery beers. They are an excellent brewery. I am a big fan of the Cream Ale and of the Scottish Ale. When it came to feed, it is pretty much what I expect, and just average. My Cubano was not very Cubano traditional at all, but it was fresh and tasty. The Chicken Quesadilla was your basic chicken and cheese in a tortilla. But all in all, this place serves the need for an airport meal in a friendly atmosphere. For that reason, I would give it a 7 on a 10-point scale. With just a 5-point scale, it is a solid ranking between 3 and 4.

Had a thirst. Stopped here and swallowed some brew. Tasty. It’s an airport so the atmosphere isn’t great but they try.

Beer is good. I mean, it’s Sun King so of ckurse the beer is excellent. But don’t come here for the food. It’s cheap foodservice with a stiff price tag. Service is…interesting. Kind of like being at a biker bar in Hancock County - charming in a chain-smoking, potty mouth kind of way, with dirty jokes to go with your pint of Pachanga.

I stopped in at Sun King because the sign promised craft beer and it delivered. The beer was excellent and Jasmine made the experience even better. She was upbeat, attentive, and knowledgeable. I started with something from the menu and when I finished she suggested another. Three more recommendations later and I walked out with a new favorite beer.

I did not try the food this time since I came specifically for the beer but the service and selection were top notch. Thanks for the great experience Jasmine.

Avocado toast with red onions on wheat is just refreshing and satisfying choice.
Excellent fast service. Very friendly host. Great experience. Stop by for a good bite and the Indiana heart warming bye or hello time.

The bun on the pulled pork was hard as a rock. Seems like the microwaved the sandwich too long.

Probably shouldn’t be surprised by airport prices but $14 for a single beer is disingenuous, especially since they don’t put the drink prices on the menu

Beer is good - food is not. Tried their grilled cheese sandwich which came out cold and unimpressive for what the menu indicated. Head somewhere else if you want a bite before your flight.

Really great experience early on a Saturday morning. Had the quinoa kale scrambled egg bowl. Healthy, tasty and very fast and friendly service. I will be back.

2 small tacos came with burnt chips and a $4 1 ounce cup of guac. The tacos were supposed to come with consommé since they were birria, but nothing was with it. The tacos were so dry. The place was beyond dirty.
