Great service, drinks, food, andatmosphere. I used to frequent this location back when it was Three Wise Men and I'm glad it remains as a beer hall. I'm especially glad a local legend like Sun King took over. The only downer was the variety of food on the menu. It was just burgers and brunch today.
This Sun King here in broad ripple is a recent favorite and perfect addition. The beers have been delicious and plentiful, staff is always very polite, One Trick Pony is the excellent burger spot that serves the food there, and does a perfect smash burger, and classic fries. One of the best ive had in ripple, do yourself the favor and scoop a burger and a banana mocha slushie. Slushies are pretty strong too!
I've always loved Sun King, but the new "one trick pony" menu is not good. The cheeseburger tasted off. The bun and bacon were the only things I enjoyed. The flat melt sandwich was even harder to get down. I'll still come back for their beer which has always been great, but until a new menu is released we'll probably be avoiding Sun King for meals.
