Crab 99 Bar and Restaurant

Food was good, that's about it. Not sure what happened to our waitress, hope she'sOK. After waiting 15 min and being told by staff they did not know where she was, we paid our bill up front. The rap music they played was extremely inappropriate. not surprised the place was dead. I'd be shocked if this place lasts 6 more months.

Slow and food was ok
But the vibe was good.

You HAVE to try Crab 99 Bar & Restaurant in Indianapolis. They seriously have the best food ever. A special shout-out to the little Asian guy who works there – he's the funniest and most awesome person I’ve ever met. Honestly, it's the best food in Indianapolis. If you ever stop by, this is a place you should visit. If you love seafood, this is THE place for you. The environment makes you feel like you’re in a high-class, five-star seafood restaurant, and you won’t ever find any kinder, more respectful customer service.

This place has some of the best seafood I’ve ever had. Easily accessible in downtown Indianapolis, we walked from the Hyatt right around the corner. Worth it if you have to wait for a table.

Stopped by on a whim while visiting Indy from out of state. Our server Anna was very sweet, helpful, and attentive. She answered all our silly questions and gave us solid recommendations for food and drink. Good lobster roll and crab bake, tasty fried calamari with jalapenos. Margaritas did the trick

The staff here is horrible. We weren’t greeted for over 20 minutes, and our server, Trezure, was a nightmare. She messed up our order multiple times and showed zero empathy; she was a horrible person. I would not recommend eating at Crab 99. If I want bad service, I would’ve went to Dick’s Last Resort. Shame on you Trezure. Not the service we were looking for!

Sat for fifteen minutes before being greeted, Margaritas were on sale for $5, I asked for a margarita with jalapeño muddled in it, I have no problem paying extra for jalapeño, she brought me a “spicy margarita” that tasted like cucumbers, I asked if there was cucumber in it the server said no, I explained I was allergic to cucumbers, our server Trezure comes back and she says oh wait there is cucumber in it, she asked if I wanted something else so I asked for a strawberry kiwi margarita, she left for ten to fifteen minutes, she comes back no drink in hand and says they can only remake the drink I ordered so I asked for a margarita with muddled jalapeño once again, she leaves for twenty minutes this time and by the time I’m done eating and so is everyone at my table, she brings the drink finally, then I was charged for someone else’s sides they added onto their food, she didn’t bring us napkins and utensils until we were almost done eating, never came back to check on us, and threw our utensils and napkins down onto the table forcefully, horrible experience! We love this place usually and came to celebrate a friends birthday, go to juicy seafood instead!!!!
