One of the few taquerias that still have $3 tacos, and they are very, very good. The verde sauce here is a big reason why I love this place so much. They sell both of their sauces in larger containers in their refrigerator section. Better tacos than any of the spots closer to the Fountain.
Best steak burrito in the city and the orange homemade hot sauce is on point. Super inexpensive too…$7 for a monster double steak burrito. Add in a side of rice and beans if really hungry too for only an additional $1.50. Although you probably won’t need it as the burrito is massive.I used to go to the Mexican grocery/restaurant on Stop 11 and Madison for my weekly burrito fix. Yumm ?? Tienda Mexicana has the authentic homemade Mexican foods you won’t find at chain restaurants. Have you ever had cooked cactus??? Great drinks, service and inside the Mexican grocery store. We love this place!
