Although the food is smaller than most American restaurants the food was DELICIOUS! Took 6 people and we all walked away pleased! We even had all the dessert 🍾 and shared, so they plated it so adorable. This would be a regular spot for me if I lived in Indy!

We had a very good night there. My sister was in town so we wanted to take her someplace fun. My sister had the octopus. She loved it. My daughter had the mussels, loves them. And I agree as I had one. I had the gnocchi. The dish was great. The sauce made the dish. My wife had the special of sous vide duck breast that was then grilled. The idea was great, but between the two cooking methods the breast was no longer rare as she expected. It was still good, so it's not like it ruined dinner. And the risotto it was served on was fantastic. All in all, we'll be back.

Very good experience. Got two drinks an appetizer (Pastrami Poutine) and one meal (Korean meatloaf) to share between me and my wife. Everything was very good. Highly recommend the Pastrami Poutine. Service was excellent. Server had meal divided and presented between two of us upon arrival. Nice touch. Also, I think mon-thurs they have 3pm to 6pm happy hour, with like 50% off appetizers or poutine, and $3 of drinks. We saved $16 eating at 530pm.

Medium sized, somewhat interesting menu, but every dish is executed with incredible taste, and flare. The servers we encountered were knowledgeable and enthusiastic. From the website and other restaurants discussed in the same breath on line, I thought the restaurant would be a little bit more intimate and dressy, - it felt more vast and bar-centric with sports tvs you cant avoid - but the meal was exceptional.

Booked a last-minute dinner reservation for my mother's birthday, and it turned out to be a great choice! We were all impressed by the variety and richness of the food and drink menu. The location is just a short walk from the Old National Centre, which is convenient for anyone attending a show afterward.
This is my favorite restaurant in Indianapolis! I love it! They always have a vegetarian option that is delicious!

I have been to Union 50 many times. The food was excellent, as always. The service was good but not great. Our server was also annoying. When we asked for recommendations she literally recommended the most expensive items on the menu. When we asked questions about other items, the questions were not answered. Instead she just redirected us to the most expensive items. It was so blatant. When it came time to pay for dinner, I was handed a mobile pay unit. The server hovered over my shoulder and watched my every move. She even stated “20% and 25% are already calculated. You just need to choose one.” She pressured me to choose one. I finally asked her to stop hovering over my shoulder and give me some personal space. She took one half step to her left but continued to scrutinize the amount I entered for the tip. I was so annoyed at this point i adjusted my tip based on her aggressive behavior.
