50 North is an energetic location to hangout with friends at any age level. Loved the drinks and food.

Braxton was fantastic! Lovely suggestions, very welcoming and personable. We would absolutely request to be seated in Braxton's section again!

This is a fun and hip place for a night out or a night before the theater. The menu is interesting and inventive. Everything we had was delicious. Cocktails were good also. We will be back!

Our servers were Megan and Ali, in which one of them was training! They were extremely kind and attentive. Best service I have ever had. Thank you for making my best friends birthday so special!

Loved the portions, everything was very well balanced. 14 oz Lamb and the Beef tenderloin were excellent, ceasar salad was great as well! 👍

This was our first time to Union 50. We really enjoyed the atmosphere, the service, and the food. Our waiter was very attentive and helpful with the menu. Since we had not been here before, we had trouble finding Union 50. The signage is very poor. We had to call a couple times to have someone help us find it. We actually were right in front, but there wasn't visual signage to verify it. The hostess was so sweet and she came outside (in the freezing cold) to help us locate the restaurant. Now that we have been there, we will know where it is and where to park :).

One of the better restaurants in my opinion. Food was very good and service was great. They have happy hour menu too. The venue is also very nice, one of the better ones in Indy.

My partner and I stopped in on a Saturday night around 8pm for a late dinner. They did not have any available seats, so we sat at the bar where they have open seating. It was our first time here and we enjoyed the lively atmosphere.

WHAT WE ATE:
Medjool Dates (4/5) - sticky sweet, the apple gastrique was one thing too many
Crab Cake - (3/5) great crab cake, swimming in too much sauce unfortunately
Wood-Fired Wild Mushrooms - (5/5) **REQUESTED Umami Marinated Tofu SUBSTITUTE. I cannot praise this dish enough. Definitely get the substitute tofu! It is thin sliced, lightly seared tofu with good flavor.

Overall rating: the food was excellent for the most part. The tofu substitute on the wild mushroom dish is definitely the way to go! Delicious. However, there was way too much sauce on the crab cake dish, and our service was a little to be desired --seated at the bar yet not offered a refill on my soda and waited a bit for the bill.

Amazing, Amazing, Amazing! Went here last night for the first time and had a food experience I won't soon forget. Our server Brandon was great. Super helpful when it came to the menu and checking on us. We ordered the octopus to share and it was our first time trying it. Union 50 set the standard for any future octopus I might try. I ordered the duck which was so, so good. Great flavor and crispy skin. My boyfriend ordered the swordfish special which was also great. Brandon brought us the dessert menu and suggested a chocolate one which includes a blackberry cheesecake ice cream. My boyfriend asked for just the ice cream while I ordered the carrot cake. Both were amazing and if not in public, I'd have licked the plates clean.

Union 50 is so consistently good! Our meal was excellent. The braised Lamb Shank cassoulet was a perfect winter dish. My wife thoroughly enjoyed the duck as well. Our server, Mike, was on point with excellent service. This is truly a gem close to Mass Ave!

Had a great time. Drinks were good. The petit food was great, the bistro was alright. Got the wings and the sauce was not good. They also sat us at a table that is right next to a high table. Felt like the other people were towering over us and could hear our entire conversation.

Amazing food. Terrific ambiance when you walk in. Very cozy with a fantastic aroma. You just know the food will be good when you walk in. Super service with creative food. Selected randomly but will 100% out Union 50 in the regular rotation.
