Although the food was tasty, it was brought out barely warm in cold plates. After 2 minutes the food was cold. We had to ask the server to microwave our gnocchi so we could eat it. We noticed the food runner discussing it with the manager. She looked at us. She never once said a word even after walking by our table several times. Apparently she has no concept of table touch as she did not stop by a single table all night. Need to get your act together.

Very unique menu. Compliments to the chef for the best swordfish dish I’ve ever had.

Love this place! Cocktails and food are great. Love that they have ice cubes with their logo. They also have live music a lot of the time. The fries with all the different sauces are always great as well!

Small but nice dining experience. The beef filet was a bit salty with the sauce that came with it. Was cooked to perfection though. We were celebrating a birthday, I noted on my reservation, and the server said nothing about it. I had to ask her about it! Will probably go back but not for a special occasion.

We had a great time at Union 50. Kids love the board, especially the Montamore, Honey Ricotta and the Peppadew stuffed peppers. We love the Pastrami Poutine - nothing like it around. Great service by Kimmi!

Went there for Birthday dinner. Had Gnocchi before and ordered again. It felt like I got a different dish, tasteless and dry Gnocchi. Everything else was great, service was outstanding, Reserve Rioja excellent.

Had a business dinner here, we were well taken care off. loved the building. My food was very nice. I had a steak. cooked perfect. They have a very nice drink menu and wine list. It's worth it.

Great food, service could be better for the price. The dishes available are often quite interesting and have always been prepared very skillfully. I have only ever eaten seated outdoors (3x), so I can't comment much on the atmosphere, but I do know that they have live music which from what I could hear where I've been seated was not bad and seems like a nice touch. I expect a higher competency in service at their price point which I would describe as at the bottom edge of high end.

I absolutely love Union 50. From the atmosphere, to the menu, to the season drinks; it has everything you need for an enjoyable experience. The waitstaff is attentive and knowledgeable. Highly recommend.

Stopped in for dinner on our drive home from St Louis to SW PA. Great service, especially since our server was also taking care of a very large group amongst their other tables. (It's been a couple of days, and I'm terrible with names, but if I do remember correctly, thank you so much for a great dining experience, Aaron!)The food was all perfectly prepared for temperature, flavor, and texture. Even with a fairly full dining space, the room didn't feel overly loud. NA options for good beer and Mocktails were very much a welcomed surprise in the middle of the drive. All in all, extremely thrilled with the results of playing search engine roulette and landing on this place an hour outside of town.

Another great dinner at Union 50. We gathered to celebrate my husband's birthday with our sons and daughter-in-law. The meal was outstanding and we had a great server with a terrific personality. Union 50 never disappoints.

This was my first experience dining at Union 50. We came with a group of friends and had a lovely time. The ambiance is cozy and inviting. Felt like a great place for a date night but also can accommodate for small groups and could even see it being a good spot to take business clients out to dinner as well. Very versatile! It took a little while for our server to greet us and we waited a bit for our food/drinks to come out as well. Granted, it was a Saturday night and it was packed-- so can definitely understand how things can tend to be a bit slower during busy weekend nights during prime time. I definitely enjoyed the food and the cocktails were tasty! I had the seasonal tequila drink-- it was very good! To be honest, I was a bit more impressed with the appetizers/sides and shared plates than the main courses. I opted for the sticky chicken wings which were good, but nothing special. I felt like the menu had a bit too much variety and was trying to cover too many types of food. From meatloaf to octopus, to shrimp and grits to king salmon, I just feel like it's a little all over the place in my opinion in addition to being a tad pricey. However, the hand cut fries were absolutely a standout, I highly recommend the ones with duck fat and rosemary. Wasn't sure what to expect but they were delicious! Overall, I enjoyed my experience and will definitely be back!

Came to Union 50 for a work dinner with my manager, colleague and 2 others. They chose the restaurant and it was a great choice. We were all concerned about parking even though Google maps showed a parking lot across the alley from the restaurant. Luckily we found on street parking when we arrived. The ambiance in the restaurant is relaxed and they even have a stage for the band. While we waited for the rest of our party to arrive, we ordered drinks. I got the moonbeam cocktail and my colleague got the sage of enlightenment which was a different type of old fashioned. Once the rest of our part arrived, we went to our table where we ordered appetizers. We git the dates, fries and mushrooms. The mushrooms came with a bacon wrapped potato on top which added some flavor when eaten with the mushrooms. The dates were sweet but also salty due to the bacon which balanced out the flavors. I ended up ordering the lamb shank, my manager and colleague got the sword fish, one rep got the kimchi meatloaf and the other got the the sirloin. The food was great and well seasoned and delicious. The person who git the meatloaf felt it needed more kimchi as there was hardly any on the plate. My colleague said his swordfish was delicious but had an unexpected kick to it but my manager had the same thing and didn't have the same experience. The lamb shank is a decent portion and very filling. I would dine here again though it is a bit pricey. None of our meals was under $30 and once you add in drinks and appetizers, it adds up quickly.

Honestly a poor experience. They were super overbooked for a Tuesday and the poor hostess, server and bartender were all completely overwhelmed. Everyone was polite and professional but we were seated 10 min after our reservation, took another 10 min for our server to come by, 15 min for drinks, water glasses were empty most of the night, food took a while, fries were cold, dipping sauce had a film on top, we had to ask for our checks so we could finally get out of there. Won't be back anytime soon. Get it together, CRG!!
