“My first visit to The Garage Food Hall, and I'll be back! I walked around the whole place to see all the options (so many!) and decided on Azucar Morena for my first dish. So happy I did!

I'm not familiar with Venezuelan food, and have never heard of cachapas before, so didn't know what to expect (though there are photos and ingredients listed 😆) but I got the Cachapa Caribbean and a side of garlic sauce. It had black beans, fried plantains, and slices of avocado in a folded sweet corn pancake. The corn pancake was so good! Even the black beans were very good, and I usually think of black beans as boring. All together it was all tasty, with and without the garlic sauce. I recommend it, and would get it again!

The guy at the register was also nice and funny.“
