This was our first time here and I'm not sure we will be back. Granted, I hadn't had a chance to look at the menu, but I guess I was expecting more.
After realizing that most of the offerings were chicken, my mom ordered a #1 and I ordered a #2. As I was ordering, I asked the young person who was serving us how they were doing, and they weren't super friendly. I do understand that it was busy and lunch time (also, it is definitely hot as h-e-double hockey sticks outside), but showing some more kindness would have been nice.
After we got to our table, we realized that our order was incorrect (we ended up with 2 #1s), but we were both hungry, so we ate what we got. The mashed potatoes and gravy were really good, the mac & cheese was middle-of-the-road.
That's about all we've got.

I don't think you can say enough good things about wheatley's they've been around forever that were there when I was a kid. They're fish are fantastic we really loved it their biscuits and gravy are fantastic as well. The people are the friendliest people you ever meet that's a fun atmosphere it really is we love going there.

A group of us had lunch on Friday for the fish dinners. The sides were very good and they served a big portion of fish. There is pulled pork and tenderloin sandwiches also. They have donuts and a wide variety of deserts including cheesecake.
