Baan Thai Bistro Reviews
The fried chicken is absolutely delicious!
I finally made it to Baan Thai Bistro after seeing all the hype (shoutout to The Coffman Review), and let me just say…this place absolutely lives up to it.
We went all in—Crab Rangoon Dip, Firecracker Shrimp, Dumplings, Pork Satay, Thai Chili Wings, and the Thai Fried Chicken & Rice Bowl—and not a single thing missed.

Wonderful experience and top 5 places to eat anywhere in Indiana and #1 for Thai food hands down!
From the friendly staff to the cook (who are off the hook) you are greeted with a wonderful experience from the start. The food is just perfect, with my favorite being Spring rolls, lettuce wrap, and Thai Fried Chicken!

Baan Thai Bistro is a hidden gem just five minutes away, offering great food like the recommended crab rangoon dip. The restaurant has a beautiful outdoor seating area, perfect for enjoying meals when the weather is nice. It features friendly service and a diverse menu with standard Thai dishes and unique options, including chicken pad Thai, veggie thom yum soup with customizable spice levels, and delicious meals like pineapple rice and drunken noodles. Many customers enjoy the deep fried tofu appetizer and share that the Pad Thai can be made vegan by asking for no egg and no fish sauce.
The flavorful broth and attention to detail in cooking make the experience worthwhile, despite the small space and noise levels. Some customers have noted that the food can be hit or miss, with takeout sometimes being better than dining in. However, overall, Baan Thai Bistro provides fantastic food and service, especially for lunch portions that leave diners satisfied. Customers have praised the cozy atmosphere and noted that the desserts, like elephant ears and fried banana ice cream, are amazing. Baan Thai Bistro is highly recommended for anyone looking for a memorable dining experience.
