“Have gotten take out and dined in. Everything I’ve ever had has been fresh and delicious. A hidden gem in the sea of “normal” in Jeff. Don’t miss out, go see for yourself!“
“This is a wonderful community spot on Frankfort Ave and in Crescent Hill. Aaron the owner is such a kind and welcoming guy and that shows in the culture of the place. Great selection of beers, N.A. drinks, but also a full bar with cocktails and wine. I love the nights when there’s a food truck or trivia because I always meet new people to chat with!“
“I got the benny burrito with no beans. It was the best burrito downtown where I work. My new lunch spot.“
“We had not been since Fall, and the server remembered us! Consistently quality food and service 😃 2/6/26“
“We stopped by after an early bird Valentines Day. The staff was so welcoming and lovely. The decor is great and matches us perfectly; he loves bourbon, I likes wine. The game corner with cozy couches was a great place to unwind. The 6 flights were a great option to sample the extensive wine list at a super reasonable price. We are so sorry to have slept on this gem for so long. They hold several events, tastings and socials. Looking forward to adding to our regular rotation and checking out the calendar!“

“Epiphany is what this urban farmers' dreams are made of! It's about time there is an OUT OF THIS WORLD Farm to table libation bar (with a solid alcohol free menu)!!! Pick up farm fresh eggs, order a Farm to table libation, and the most delicious bites plates on could imagine! The assorted pickles are far out - try em'! Oh, and one MUST NOT forget about the white chocolate mousse - my lawd. I am now a fan of mousse! Beautiful art is available for adoption on the walls. And you can not go wrong with any of the libations. The flight is a STEAL! I can not remember the cocktail names ordered, but one was cherry focused. While the other is made with turmeric greens and gin. De-lish-must! I mean it. Go. Now!!!!“

“A Victorian home with breakfast done right in the Highlands
The Highlands district alone is worth the detour. Even on a morning visit it’s easy to see how this neighborhood transforms after dark; restaurants and bars lining both sides of the street for blocks, the kind of walkable, eclectic strip that makes a city feel alive. We were there for breakfast and already wanted to come back for a nighttime visit.
The Gralehaus itself is easy to miss. it lives inside a beautifully preserved Victorian home, and the signage is subtle enough that you might walk right past it. Once you’re standing directly in front, you’ll spot it on the front door. Don’t let the historic exterior fool you into thinking it’s a private residence. Step right in.
The front room of the old home is the main dining area, and the setup is refreshingly casual; seat yourself, take your time, soak it in. You can choose to sit near the espresso bar inside or make your way out back to the garden, which is exactly what we did. The outdoor space is incredibly comfortable; lush, green, and draped in climbing vegetation including vines of actual hops, which feels perfectly on brand for Louisville. It’s the kind of spot you want to linger in well past your last sip of coffee.
You order at the espresso bar and your food and drinks are brought to you; simple, unhurried, and exactly right for a lazy morning.
We ordered the Kentucky coffee, fresh orange juice, the trout dip board, a breakfast sandwich, and the coffee cake.
The Kentucky coffee was a standout. It had a bright, unexpected citrus twist that elevated it well beyond a standard morning cup. The breakfast sandwich was generously sized and deeply satisfying, the kind that actually keeps you full. The trout dip is boldly, unapologetically trout-forward, so consider yourself warned: if you’re not a fish person, this one is not for you. But if you appreciate that flavor, it’s a genuinely great option and a nice nod to regional ingredients.
The coffee cake deserves a special mention for sheer generosity of portion; it’s a lot, in the best way. Fair warning though: it is delightfully messy. Choose your eating location wisely unless you want crumbs in places you’ll be finding them later.
The Gralehaus is the kind of neighborhood breakfast spot that feels like a local secret even when it isn’t. Unpretentious, charming, delicious, and tucked inside one of the most characterful settings you’ll find for a morning meal.
Sit in the garden. Order the coffee cake. Don’t mistake it for someone’s house.“

“This spot was the perfect break after a long, hot hike. Michael welcomed us warmly—and even had a treat for our dog. He helped us pick the perfect drinks—a fruited blonde and an American lager—and the pretzel with cheese dip hit the spot. Tucked away in a charming part of town, it’s an ideal place to relax. Thanks, Michael, for the great hospitality!“

“PBR Louisville provided a great experience for myself and my friends on May 21, 2026 who all were between 21 and 24, it was definitely a time that we will remember as we were intoxicated except one Hispanic driver within the group. The security staff was excellent, from gate entry to overall safety security of the facility, the young manager that was baldhead wearing a manager polo shirt was very professional and understanding to us, took the time, walked with us to make sure we all were able to get to our vehicle in parking garage as we were all highly intoxicated and could barely stand up. One of our friends in the group visited recently within week and said again that it was a great experience, different person checking IDs observed there was medical situation at the Beer Bridge and security promptly responded, the manager (young bald guy Field) immediately acknowledged the situation and provided exceptional customer service in handing the situation providing medical help. PBR is a very clean venue, love the fun atmosphere. We highly encourage people looking for a good time to visit such place. Wish they would offer food to eat at times but that still not stopping us from returning, we had a great time.“

“I was visiting my son and grandson and we went to drakes last night. I had never been before but I can’t wait to go again. First and foremost I wish I’d have gotten the name of our server. She was the best I’ve ever had! She was so kind and attentive and I hope management will recognize her for the gem she is! The food was amazing as well! I ordered the tempura shrimp and it was delicious! I also ordered the crab rangoon roll and it was so good! My whole family loved everything they ordered! I wish you could open a drakes in the Illinois quad cities! Thank you for a nice dinner!!“
