“Taziki's is a wonderful Mediterranean restaurant! It has a spacious protected outdoor eating area with plenty of seating of various varieties in the main dining area. You can get a table for two for an intimate meal, a booth that can easily hold six people, or a dinning table for a party of twelve. The food portions are generous for the price and is tasty and freshly prepared. The service was very quick for the time you ordered to when your food was brought to you table. This is a top notch Mediterranean restaurant that offers a relaxed dining atmosphere which I highly recommend! 👍🏼“

“Our first time going here and definitely not our last. The food was simply amazing and the service was excellent. Hubby and I shared the cheese sticks , he ordered the chicken pasta (that’s not the exact name ) and I ordered the shrimp and grits with the fried okra on the side. We tend to be picky eaters but wanted to step out of our comfort zone and we are so glad we did. Literally some of the most delicious food we ever had. We even ordered dessert ! I got the beignets cause why not and my husband got the banana cheesecake. 10/10 recommend“

“Don’t be sleeping on Aladdin's Mediterranean / Middle Eastern Cuisine located in downtown New Albany. Admittedly, it had been like 8 years since I have last patronized, which I regret! It was very delicious! Price point good. Portions were big. Friendly service and didn’t take long to get our food, despite it being Friday night. the Aladdin’s Steak Sandwich and it was amazing. The steak was cooked perfectly! I was full after eating only the sandwich. We also had the gyro bowl, the lamb melted in your mouth and the rice texture was on point. Not under/over cooked, not gummy. Even if you are unsure about liking this type of cuisine, just give it a try. I will be going back very soon. They seemed to have a pretty steady carryout line, so that’s always an option too! 10/10 recommend!“

“The extremely helpful and polite staff were a true delight. The coffee shop made me a “black eye”, which was strong and delicious. Art work throughout ranged from elegant to eclectic, but all pieces were beautiful. The rooftop bar is the jewel, with outdoor seating, spectacular views, and comfortable conversation spaces.“

We ordered a Gyro Pita and Chicken Skewers (Souvlaki) from the Light Meal selections, which came with pita bread and a Greek salad.

*Note: My 11-year-old, in exalted excitement about how good this restaurant was, wrote most of this review. I edited for spelling & grammar, but he wrote the bulk of it. Proud mom moment!

Restaurant Atmosphere: 4.5 Stars
Great atmosphere with lots of paintings and a very good layout of the tables, drink fountain, and ordering counter. The restrooms needed a little bit of love – the light switch in the men's restroom was unresponsive and detached from the wall, and the women’s restroom had no toilet paper or paper towels available, but the restaurant itself had a great atmosphere.

Food Appearance: 5 Stars
The food came out looking great! It was arranged well on the plate and looked so good that we took photos of it before we could eat it.

Taste: 5 Stars
Fresh, Crisp, Delicious, a perfect amount of sauce already in the Gyro Pita. The chicken skewers meal was grilled and well-flavored. The Greek salad contained beets and bell peppers, which was different on a typical Americanized Greek salad, but the flavor combination was delicious.

Customer Service: 5 Stars
The associate at the counter was super nice, and didn't mess up our order one bit! The food was delivered directly to our table a few minutes after we ordered.

Little Greek also has a wide variety of choices to choose from.

Vegetarian options: There are options on the menu which are vegetarian, such as a grilled vegetable bowl, a veggie pita, and a spinach pie (though that option is likely made with eggs, so it depends on if eggs are part of your diet). However, the focus of this place is not vegetarian/vegan, so there are mostly meat options and a lot of meat served.

Dietary restrictions: There is a "light meals" option for those looking for better choices.

Parking: Plenty of parking. This restaurant is in a shopping center.

Kid-friendliness: Plenty of space between tables to maneuver a stroller. Kids menu. High chairs and booster seats available.“
