Friendly, knowledgeable, and clearly passionate about the food, they offered fantastic suggestions that made our meal unforgettable. We started with the brisket egg rolls, and wow—just wow. Crispy on the outside, packed with tender brisket, sauerkraut, and melted Swiss on the inside. It’s the kind of appetizer that makes you pause mid-bite just to appreciate how good it is. For mains, we went with the Jägerschnitzel and the Rouladen. The Jägerschnitzel was perfectly breaded and topped with a rich mushroom gravy that was pure comfort food. The Rouladen, with its savory blend of beef, pickle, onion, carrot, and bacon, was bursting with flavor and cooked to perfection. Both dishes were hearty, satisfying, and incredibly well-prepared. Overall, the experience at Schwätzer’s was top-notch. Great food, an inviting atmosphere, and service that felt personal and thoughtful. If you're anywhere near Seymour, this place is a must-visit.”

“We've been enjoying Upland since they opened. Great food, beer and top notch service. Tonight we had dinner in one of their igloos. It was so cozy and perfect! Appetizers of chicken wings and warn pretzels were a great start. We loved our burgers and tofu Thai salad. We finished with scrumptious cherry chocolate bread pudding a warm brownie. Everything was perfect! Friendly service too.”

Definitely a 10, not a 9, not a 9.5. The best burger I've had in years. So good I went back yesterday, just to make sure. Damn, another 10. Burger and fries were perfect! It's on my must stop list if I am in Seymour, Indiana. I don't care what else they have to offer. I'm sure it would be great, but I'm going with what I know will be great.

“My husband and I are 1st time customers and we will definitely be returning. The service was great and once our order was placed it was not long before it came out. We ordered the breaded tenderloin and the turkey burger both with fries. The food came out hot and the beer was nice and cold. I would highly recommend this place to everyone.”

“We went in for lunch and was pleasantly surprised. The food is cooked right in front of the counter! It's a family ran business for 50 years. Hamburgers with cooked onions with hand cut fries(had some of the longest fries I've ever seen) that are so so good! Kathy was our server. She was very helpful with our ordering(even tho they were so busy) decisions. We are so grateful for her suggestions for lunch and for her taking the time she didn't have to help us. She will definitely be our server everytime!!!! It's an old time diner, very nostalgic and with vintage pictures on the wall. Liz larrison(owner) was right up front on the grill just cooking away. They still make milkshakes the old fashioned way too!! They are always busy but it's worth walking thru that door!!! They close everyday at 2pm so if your hungry, get on in there before they close. It's a definite must stop for anyone traveling on interstate 65 exit 50, Seymour, IN”
