A kokomo classic with arguably the best ice cream in town, rivaled perhaps by cone palace. It's always a sad day when they close for the winter and a great day when they open in the spring.

I’ve been to Kokomo Frozen Custard a few times now, and I have to say, I’m pretty disappointed. The prices are incredibly high! For what you get, I expected a bit more than just a sweet treat.
To make matters worse, the service is painfully slow. Each time I’ve visited, I’ve found myself waiting way longer than anticipated just to place my order, and then even longer to actually receive my dessert. It’s frustrating!

Okay, so the place isn't much to look at. Don't let that deter you. It's worth the trip. As frozen custard places go, this place actually delivers some delicious delights as opposed to just phoning it in while cashing in on the nostalgia that surrounds a local institution like this.
Never had a tin roof sundae before and didn't realize that if you take the top off, the marshmallow expands out and overflows the cup. Lesson learned.

I had a cone inside a cone and the top was off of it? Not sure what happened there? My ice cream dumped on my chest right after i got it. I like you ice cream I have had it before that why I drove here to get it. Im sorry i really don't like to leave negative comments much but this place always asks you for a tip. $4 for a med plain vanilla cone and they ask for tips? My family decided not to go here much because of the always asking for tips but I had forgotten and decided to get a cone. Placing a tip jar is fine but not asking.I believe places like this should pay thier employees properly and stop expecting your customers to leave tips. Its not sit down restaurant and we are already paying a good amount for your ice cream you should be paying your employees well .No other ice cream place asks for tips that i know of? Also most of the times I have been here some of the girls shorts are very inappropriate. I have never wrote a review complaining about uniform or the way people dress before. The shorts are very short and it makes me feel like im at hooters the way some of them are dressed. I really don't think we will be back .
