Only a few food items can be good enough to put a place on the map. In Kokomo those items are the breaded tenderloin and the other is Louie’s baked hamburgers. I moved to Kentucky 32 years ago and I have a standing food order for my friends and family when they come visit. You best bring an ample supply of bakes when you come. Louie’s will pack 20 of the meaty bakes into a bowl and cover them with sauce sprinkled with onion then frozen till I thaw them. The buns are still...
We always love stopping at Louie's on our way through Kokomo. It's truly an institution. Their coney dogs are a classic. The restaurant is clean, service is quick, and the staff is friendly!
Great local joint known for their coney dogs and baked hamburgers, but also have other great tasting items on their menu like their fried pickle spears and an AMAZING gyro that will definitely fill you up. Always pretty busy, but have always been greeted with a smile and great service when I have dined there.
