I have driven by this place numerous times, and today I finally decided to stop in for a quick lunch. Firstly, let me say Walt and Shirley’s is amazing in every aspect, from the atmosphere, to the food, to the service. The building is very new, clean, and welcoming inside. There are several tables, bar seating, a pool table, and two dart boards. It is definitely more of a restaurant feel than a bar vibe, but that’s what makes it great.The food is EXCELLENT! Great food and atmosphere! The owner came out, introduced herself and told us her story of why she opened. The place has been completely remodeled and was squeaky clean. The menu changes daily and the wine menu was huge! We'll be back!
First time visit. T-bone dinner and catfish dinner. Both were excellent! The catfish was cooked the way my Gramps used to make it. It definitely brought back some memories. If you're after some down home cooking, this is the place to eat. We had to get the bourbon peach cinnamon roll to go. I was told that it isn't shareable. I'll just take that advice and eat it later, all by myself.
