“I have been to this restaurant several times and have had great experiences each and every time. The owner, John, is welcoming. He greets me and my party every time. Very hospitable! The atmosphere is lovely.

My most recent visit was with some ladies…we celebrated a retirement. I called the day before and the table was all set up for us which was a party of 11. We had a server named Kayla, who was friendly and attentive to each of our needs. Surprisingly, Kayla advised that John had something special for us. She then brought out complimentary brownie bits which was the perfect finish to a delicious meal.

“Some locals recommended this place to us for dinner, so we decided to give it a try. My first impression was that the place is extremely dated and dark inside. The building is obviously older, along with the decor. The staff was exemplary and our waitress was really friendly and knew service really well. The food is extremely pricey for the area, but you are given large portions. Presentation is pretty much non-existent, but that matters less than the flavor of the food.“

“I went in last night it was every bit of 90 degrees in this establishment. the one gal who's super quick and very friendly opened up the doors for air flow, great decision and she ever worried if the boss would be mad. every time i go in and shes working my family and i get the best service. If more businesses had employees like this in their work place they forever have our business. maybe some of the gals should take pointers we don't always get friendly service especially from the younger employees. GOOOD THING OUR DAY GAL WAS WORKING NIGHTS. made our horrible day better by the time we left.“

“Let's be clear right up front, this is an old school bar and grill, complete with folks having a good time and singing along with the tunes at the top of their lungs. That wasn't the atmosphere I was looking for when I walked in, but it didn't matter.

What I was looking for was a good meal and 3rd base delivered. I had the western burger topped with homemade onion straws and BBQ sauce. I have enjoyed a lot of BBQ sauce in my lifetime and this honestly may be the best I have ever had. For my taste, it was perfect. The straws were just right. Anyone can make a burger, but these toppers made it a damned good burger.

Service was great. We stopped later in the evening. The place was full. We found a table and received almost immediate service. Like magic, every time we needed them, they were always there.
