“We sat at the bar for an early dinner on Saturday. My husband and I both had a beer and dinner. We are vegan so it was wonderful to have a place where we have a choice about what to order.
Vegetarian options: We were able to get vegan meals without having to remove multiple parts of the sandwiches.“

“We were in town for a graduation. We did not have a reservation, and they found room for the five of us. The service was excellent. The food was delicious. The cocktails were fun and tasty. My husband doesn't like mac and cheese. He ate half of mine along with his own dinner. Everyone at the table tried my mac and cheese dinner I ordered and loved it. Next time, I'm saying hands off.“

“A Valpo landmark and well worth a visit if you are in the area! The food is delicious, great craft beer selection and always friendly service. They also have outdoor seating, bar, bags pit, shuffle board. Inside they have a 'holiday' tree hanging from the ceiling, decorated with different themes ?.“

“My boyfriend and I tried this place for the 1st time. Everything was amazing... drinks, apps and dinner. We had scallops for our app, prob best cooked scallops I have ever had. I had the filet and my boyfriend had the Mahi. Our server Tony was great! Great service and food!“

“The manager, Katie, went above and beyond with less than an hour’s notice to save our field trip from cancellation after the amusement park we were headed to was closed due to power outages. Katie, and her staff, were incredible! They went above and beyond for our 8th graders, allowing them to celebrate the end of middle school with a memorable, fun experience they’ll cherish forever. I’m a forever customer after today. THANK YOU!“

“Had wrote a review a few days ago regarding a coupon not being utilized for a 50% off. I just deleted the review on accident but wanted to update to anyone who had read that. A manager contacted me and apologized for the mistake that had been made. The young man that had taken the order was fairly new and has now been educated on how to process that particular type of coupon. Managment was extremely apologetic and quick to recover and make me feel much better about the situation. They offered a credit for the WHOLE pizza!!! We well absolutely order from Rosati‘s again as that is our favorite pizza and the closest to Chicago as we can get in pizza.“

“We had El Salto cater our wedding and they were amazing from start to finish!!! We had a taco bar with chicken and beef along with fajita veggies for our vegetarian guests. We also had rice, beans, guacamole, queso, and chips and salsa! Great prices, great communication and just all around a wonderful experience!! Thank you, Caitlin and the El Salto team! “It was our first time visiting the Viking Chili Bowl in Valpo. We called ahead for a table since we were a party of 6. Glad we did. Even though the place was packed, we had excellent, friendly service. I was impressed that our food arrived as soon as it did. The food was good. My husband absolutely loved the ham. Portions are big. My granddaughter barely got through a half on one of her pancakes. I had the fish sandwich with Onion rings. Sandwich was standard. I really enjoyed the rings. My husband and I ordered the chili to go for dinner. I have to say, I was disappointed. The only negative. The chili looked very processed. Like it came straight from a can. It was an unappealing brown color and it didn't taste good. Guess I had a sort of expectation from the restaurant's name. Again, everything else was pleasant and enjoyable outside of the Chili. We look forward to returning some time.“

“I enjoy duffys place to catch up with friends. They have reasonably prices on food and drinks. I look for their specials and special music the most.
Parking: They have a decent amount of parking in front and back. When they are really busy it can be hard to find parking“

“Went today for lunch and was very impressed with the food. Signed up with the app and got a free appetizer. Manager came over and offered complimentary fries and a coupon for another free appetizer our next visit! Waitress took care of us well. Only problem we had was it stank in the restaurant…. lol
Stank like a bad dookie or a clogged drain in the back. Would’ve been 5 stars but it was a bit stinky.“

“I’m so done eating here.. i loved it for years but the fact that we ordered at 8:15. 45 min before closing. They gave us all the old food. Old hard dry rice, COLD orange chicken, OLD crab Rangoon. If you don’t want to cook fresh food at 8:15 say you close at 8 and i gladly would have gone somewhere else. 4 loyal years of multiple times a month taking out. Down the drain.“

“We hadn’t been to Applebees in a while. We had a wonderful waitress, Kristi. She was very polite and friendly. She made helpful suggestions and kept stopping by the table to make sure we had everything we needed. I got the blackened salmon and it was amazing! “Very fun place, our waitress was the sweetest and very considerate. Tried going two other times and couldn't make it. I'm so glad I was able to get in, dine upstairs, and dinner was excellent. It was so nice having grilled octopus instead of fried calamari. Lamb chops were perfect, and I had the "scalabet" for my entree. We finished it off with a cookie skillet. I was STUFFED, so it's worth it.“
