“Had wrote a review a few days ago regarding a coupon not being utilized for a 50% off. I just deleted the review on accident but wanted to update to anyone who had read that. A manager contacted me and apologized for the mistake that had been made. The young man that had taken the order was fairly new and has now been educated on how to process that particular type of coupon. Managment was extremely apologetic and quick to recover and make me feel much better about the situation. They offered a credit for the WHOLE pizza!!! We well absolutely order from Rosati‘s again as that is our favorite pizza and the closest to Chicago as we can get in pizza.“

The atmosphere was relaxed, and the staff were friendly and welcoming. If you're looking for a great pizza place in Valparaiso, Uncle Menny's is definitely worth checking out!“

“First time here. Great pizza. Had the 2 slice lunch combo, and shoe bites. More than enough. Will definitely be back!“

“I had an antipasta salad and brownie.
The antipasta was delicious with the raspberry vinegrette, it is also enough for me to eat again tomorrow. I also got one of their house brownies, which was unlike any brownie I've ever had before. Awesome presentation on the brownie too, it stayed in place on its way here.
Ice cold pop wrapped in foil. Refreshing and low priced.“

“Went on Valentines Day, was told about an hour wait, gave them my phone number and was going to get a call when my table was ready. They had a cancellation and my table was ready in 15 minutes, not bad for 4PM on a Saturday during V-Day. Food was absolutely delicious, good portions, service was great. It was very busy but they were 100% on top of things, can't wait to go back.“

“I got the fried banana pepper rings and the Philly cheese steak sandwich. The banana peppers where the star of the show! So good I couldn't even eat much of my sandwich.
The waitress (Riley) did a great job! Very attentive and friendly.

“Tonight me, my fiance and little sister went to Zao Island and went on the GoKarts. We did all the laps and got called back in. While us three were stopped ready to get out, I heard a mom say “slow down” and her child drove into the back of my cart, didn’t brake at all and I hit my head so hard on the back of my seat. To the mom, you and your little boy are not at fault at all! The workers should’ve said slow down or show them how to brake beforehand. They didn’t even check if any of us were okay afterwards. I think there needs to be an age restriction on the GoKarts or at least a mandatory demonstration for the little ones before they drive. I absolutely love Zao and mean no harm but the workers for the GoKarts needed to handle the situation better for the future. 🫶🏻“

“There someone who works at this Casey’s named Zach. He was a very respectful young man and the other people working there were as well. I was hoping that this review could possibly get them in a better position than what he’s at right now or a raise. I’m not the type of person to write reviews, but Zach was such a respectful person so I had the need to write a review.“

“Its hit and miss sometimes, but im gonna keep getting it anyway because im not paying for a 5 michelin star world class food experience, im buying an italian beef from the closest place possible because im hungry and stuck at work.
And its adequate for that.
And i retain the high score because the few times i actually get a pizza its always awesome, a JJ's pizza is really something all its own and its great every time.
I think if youre going into a place like this and expecting it to rival Vals or whatever youre absolutely out of your mind, thats not the goal here.“

“Went in today with my son and infant daughter. There was a miscommunication between myself and the cashier that resulted in not having a combo added to one of the sandwiches. The store was quick to solve the problem. A bit later we had another issue with the sausage being burnt. I hated to even say anything because I had already had the issue with the combo but my son wasn’t going to eat the sandwich because it was burnt. The manager didn’t even hesitate and made him a fresh sandwich. Once that was solved everything was amazing. The food was hot and delicious. The beef was tender and the bread perfection. The manager and her entire team were super friendly and took great care of us.

“Always fast and fresh, the one time we had an issue they more than fixed it. Great locally owned franchise that cares about serving Valparaiso.“

“Well everyone always tells me if you have bad service once you should always try again. Well I did and guess what service was still bad. With only 9 people in the bar area we asked for menus and drinks. We got the drinks but the bartender was too busy on her phone to come back and take our order. After waiting almost 30 minutes I walked out. I use to go there at least three times a week. Never again.“
