“Pesto's is a hidden gem in Valpo. I've been eating here for 25 years and they have literally the best breadsticks on the planet. They are known for their delicious pasta dishes, but they also have amazing pizza! There are a few good pizza spots in Valpo (Greeks!), but honestly next to Giordano's deep dish, Pesto's is my go-to thin crust pizza place! Tip: They don't always bring their bread loaf and oil - ask for it, it's fresh and warm and served with a delicious Balsamic olive oil!“
“A very delightful pizza place in downtown Valparaiso. They have indoor seating and also a walk-up window. The joker is a really good pizza! It is thin crust but they oven bake it so it has a little bit of char at the edge but that makes it great!“
“Shout out to evening assistant manager at the Valparaiso Buono! We were there Valentine's evening to get a rainbow cone. It was closed, but manager offered to open a nd make us a couple. Wow, have to say excellent customer service! Very friendly and outgoing. We will be definitely be back!“
“Spectacular. From the first bite, you can tell they use quality ingredients, not just what a distributor pushes their way.The building is well remodeled with a red brick veneer wall, nice furnishings, great lighting, and an outdoor seating area. The staff was very courteous and attentive, even when the Friday rush arrived as we were finishing our meal. Our server was well versed on the meals, their ingredients, prep, and provided helpful recommendations. Our appetizer was the meatballs. Made on site, the meat was flavorful but lean. The sauce made my wife go "wow," and the cheese was fresh and delicious. The appetizer arrived well before the meal, so we could enjoy it without being rushed. My wife ordered a Detroit pizza while I ordered the Johnny Boy sandwich. The waitress immediately asked and recommended ricotta cheese for the pizza, an excellent recommendation. The pizza arrived, well more than 1 person could eat, with a perfect buttery deep pan crust, a great sause, and again cheeses that were definately not from a distributor as they were fresh and with a complex flavor profile not found in something from a restaurant distributor. My Johnny Boy sandwich had thinly sliced meats cooked perfectly. The peppers were also cooked perfectly with a fully cooked flavor in a pepper slice that still was firm without being crunchy. The bread was so distinctive I shared a tear off with my wife, again something deliberately chosen by the chef for its quality. The fries were comparable to those from 5 Guys without being excessively oily. The waitress said the restaurant has been in this location for 4 years, unfortunately we just found it today. A fantastic addition to the Valparaiso food scene.“
“I was so excited to find a Fazoli's, hadn't had it since I left college 25 years ago. It's still the same reliable, quick, budget-friendly pasta I knew all those years ago. And the breadsticks are FIRE, just as I remember. I'll gladly stop by whenever I'm in town again. Thanks for the memories!“
“They took great care of us. We had a large group of friends and family members for a birthday party. The pizza was good but, for me, I thought the crust was too thick. Just my opinion. Overall, a great experience.Parking: Gravel parking lot. Sloppy out there when it rains. Dusty AF when it's dry. It's gravel, what do you expect... :)Kid-friendliness: It's a great place to let the kids run around and have fun. PLENTY of attractions for the kids to play and interact with. Indoors and outdoors (weather permitting).Wheelchair accessibility: They have the facilities spaced for wheelchair accessibility. Plenty of room for special needs chairs too.“
“I was visiting for a funeral and did not want to go out. When I learned there was a Rosati’s nearby I remembered my great experiences in the past. I had the traditional thinner crust vegetarian pizza and it was as good as I remembered from almost 6 years ago. When I return to the area Rosati’s will be on my short list.“
“Food is awesome and consistently great tasting regardless of what you order. The employees are friendly offering great customer service. It has been a pleasure to know the owners Mike & Kim that have always been extremely friendly as well. Joe & Marcie CuniusParking: Never a problem. It can be a little challenging when there are venues in the park.“
“I never wanted to post a review on this place because I feel like it's a well-hidden gem in Valparaiso just off Calumet Ave. But I love the place so much that I've decided to share the secret. This is our go-to Pizzeria for Family Pizza Night. My very picky-eating daughters love this place for the mozzarella sticks, cheese pizza, and the fun, inexpensive toy machines that they have. We always order their wings because they are always served hot and crispy, as good wings are. The food never disappoints and we always leave stuffed and with leftovers to spare. The staff is always friendly and polite. They're always working and aiming to please. This place has excellent customer service and delicious food for a great price. No matter how busy, my family will continue to come here for years to come.“
“Gosh, we really love this place, but they're a teeeensy but pricey on their games. I did just find out however that they have a winter special - 1/2 price Tuesdays :) the other thing is I think the last time we were there my daughter lost credits on a game but didn't get the play and there was a claw broken on one of the claw machines. Truly if not for those things I'd give it 5. This still remains one our favorite family past times :(“

“Ordered pizza for pickup tonight. Got large sausage and onion and bread sticks. It was one of the best pizzas I had in a while. Very great taste from the sauce to the crust. Bread sticks were good also.Service was great also no problem as it was on time. Did order pickup but the ambiance looked good . Will definitely order again when I am on the area. If you want a good pizza and price to go with it. This is the place. Thanks team.“
“I came in this last weekend visiting family, and we drove by and saw it was karaoke night and thought it was so cool! Our server Maranda was the absolute best! Since we had not been here she recommended good meals for us and answered all of our questions professionally. Next time we come to town we hope to have her as our server again!“
“Just had lunch on the patio, was very pleasant. Had a personal pizza. Was good but I did a standard. Specialty pizzas look delicious and I can't wait to try one next time.My service was mvp. I should have gotten her name. I will mainly come back for her.“
“Had the Italian sausage sandwich on a recent visit. Nice seasoning and cooked nicely. The onion soup was tasty and not overly salty. A nice layer of cheese baked over the top and full of onions.Nice place to hit after a round of golf at Aberdeen.“
“Haven't ordered from Dominos in over 30 years because back then their pizzas were a joke. Because of word of mouth that now they are excellent, I ordered 2 Medium Pan Pizzas for the price of 1 on line for pickup with Sausage Mushrooms and Green Peppers. They were very very good. Plenty of cheeses, but they skimped on the sausage, mushrooms, and green peppers - I should have chosen extra on the toppings because they were good. Anyway, they have come a long way in taste and quality in the last 30 years. i Will be going back in the future for more pan style.“
“Yum, as always! Hummus was so delicious! Really appreciate the generous portions, especially in this economy. Great service!Vegetarian options: Many meatless optionsParking: Busy strip mall...parking spaces can be competitive.Kid-friendliness: Lots of room at this location“
