It was last minute when I called them to place the order, they told me they were closing in 20 minutes, when I told them why I needed the food, they told me they would make the food and stay there and wait for us to pick it up. “We absolutely LOVE Bams! 💛 Over the years, their sauce has changed a bit—and I can honestly say it’s not quite what it used to be—ITS BETTER— but everything else kept us coming back again and again.

Since moving into their new building, the atmosphere has been so clean, comfortable, and welcoming. One thing that really stands out is how amazing they are with customers—they never make any of my “weird” food requests feel out of place or awkward. That kind of service means everything!

And the ice cream buffet is absolutely appealing and makes you want every scoop!!
They’re also incredible with kids, always so kind and patient, which makes dining here even more enjoyable for our family. And let’s not forget their happy hour—we LOVE it! 🙌

But the real star? Their HUGE party pizza! 🍕 It literally barely fits through the front door. We’ve ordered one before and fed over 15 people (2 slices each!) and STILL had leftovers for people to take home. You definitely get your money’s worth.

“We have used them for several parties. I usually call my order in early and ask to have it delivered at a certain time and it is always delivered on time. We love the pizza and wings and always get compliments on how good the food is at the party! Highly recommend!“

“My family and I love JJ's! And if you haven't tried their version of stuffed crust pizza...it.is.a.MUST! We usually get a sausage and pepperoni stuffed crust and the whole pizza comes with a layer of crust on top! Not a thick layer, just enough to 'stuff' the pizza with delicious ingredients. They have pretty good mild/hot wings and they staff is always courteous. They messed up our order one time and we had driven to pick it up and didn't notice the mistake until we got home. We called them and they offered to deliver our order to us, no charge!“

“My daughter and I picked a random place today, and we ended up here. Definitely didn’t know what to expect, and the menu had so many choice it was hard to decide ( a good thing )!!! It’s inside a gas station. Order in person or over the phone. Pay at the gas station cashier. Bring back your receipt to the pizza counter to grab your pizza.

I got the beef and onion along with a specialty pizza, the taco pizza.

I enjoyed the taco pizza. Very tasty except it’s a hard one to warm up the next day due to the lettuce and tomato.

The beef and onion was decent. It doesn’t have a strong flavor. Just enough to make you wanting more. Again, lots of dough so it fills you up quickly.“

Jamel and Tyler served me last night and they were very helpful and the toppings were not skimped like other places do you, and they made us feel welcomed and that’s not always common around Gary at other restaurants.“

“I just tried to use the VIP coupon for free pizza and ordering the required extra food. order $8.99 wings not enough for delivery must be $10 ok fine order bigger order of wings then they tell me I can't do that, why THEY DONT KNOW. Can't totally blame the worker but the whole conversation took over 10 minutes. guess he wasn't properly trained. what's use in sending out a coupon if I go above and beyond as much as i needed to order. “I have been to this location a couple times the first time everything was right at expectations for Beggars Pizza. However when I visited 10/31/2024 it wasn't the best experience I pre-ordered a deep dish and boneless wings for 645pm. With this pre-order it gave the establishment over an hour to prepare my food. When I arrived my order was still not ready and I was given an ETA of 15 minutes this was kind of annoying but I understood it was Halloween and they did seem pretty busy. When I first arrived there was a small box up on the heater and the lady working the desk when asking the kitchen about my order only inquired about the pizza. I was so worried that my wings were already prepared in that small box and that the quality would be terrible. I was hoping they would do the right thing and re make them but they didn't and those were my wings and they were in fact not good. The lady at the front desk seemed overwhelmed and even though my order was sitting ready in the window when I returned she disappeared to the back area making me wait longer for the order I placed at this point about an hour and 40 mins for. She just needed to man her position and get the orders out that she did already have in the hot window. That was pretty annoying but overall I would go back just for the pizza because that wasn't bad I just would have liked the kitchen timing to be better so all parts of my order came out hot and fresh.“

“Well everyone always tells me if you have bad service once you should always try again. Well I did and guess what service was still bad. With only 9 people in the bar area we asked for menus and drinks. We got the drinks but the bartender was too busy on her phone to come back and take our order. After waiting almost 30 minutes I walked out. I use to go there at least three times a week. Never again.“
