I forgot to do my reservation a couple days ago but when I remembered the guy I talked to was very understanding because he said he has a daughter & they are important, so he was patient & looked in the books & found a time to fit me in. I really wanted to thank him in person. Other than that Stacks is a real chill place with friendly workers & good food & varieties. Its also a pretty good theme. This is our second time there but I still have to go back again for an adult date for two on the rooftop dining area“

“I live nearby this Culver’s and visit it frequently. I also walk around the neighborhood with my dog and pass in front of the store almost daily. When it snows they never shovel the sidewalk that runs parallel to LaPorte Avenue. This is annoying and dangerous. It’s a tiny strip of walk between two businesses to the east and 1st Source Bank to the west, all of which keep their sidewalks cleared of ice and snow. I suggest and hope that for the safety of pedestrians Culver’s management addresses this potentially serious issue. Thank you.“

“I went to the drive thru for some lemon rice soup because it's delicious, number one. Number two, I had a really bad cold, and when I ordered thru the drive up, the woman taking my order must have heard in my voice that I was sick. After I ordered, she came out the side door, and brought the soup to my car, and said she hoped I felt better soon.
It was so nice, and I needed that kindness so much that day...“

“Parea is very good for an upper scale restaurant in downtown Valpo and could very well be my local favorite for a sit down dinner. The service here has always been very good and the servers seem like pretty down to Earth individuals (at least those I've spoken to). The atmosphere is very nice and the bar area is no exception. The food is the real show here and it (Mostly) never disappoints. The food is about what I'd expect, it's very good, but oftentimes I feel like it's lacking a little something that makes it really shine as opposed to other high end restaurants I've been to in other towns. It's also pretty pricey which is expected for a restaurant of this caliber, but with that high price comes an expectation that the food will be excellent. And for the most part, it does not disappoint.“
