“We recently had a group of 20 to celebrate my boyfriend’s 40th Birthday and they were soooo accommodating! From letting me drop off his birthday cake earlier in the day, to taking such great care of us during our dining experience, it was perfect! Jill & Austin did an amazing job and I will definitely recommend this to friends and family, especially for a large group!“

“Parea is very good for an upper scale restaurant in downtown Valpo and could very well be my local favorite for a sit down dinner. The service here has always been very good and the servers seem like pretty down to Earth individuals (at least those I've spoken to). The atmosphere is very nice and the bar area is no exception. The food is the real show here and it (Mostly) never disappoints. The food is about what I'd expect, it's very good, but oftentimes I feel like it's lacking a little something that makes it really shine as opposed to other high end restaurants I've been to in other towns. It's also pretty pricey which is expected for a restaurant of this caliber, but with that high price comes an expectation that the food will be excellent. And for the most part, it does not disappoint.“

“Absolutely fabulous. Had grilled oysters, Caesar salad, salmon dish with puréed turnips, bolognese and the burger. Shared chocolate mousse and beignets for dessert. Julia was our server and she was wonderful. Highly recommend. It was our first time here and we will be back“
