“This is a cute little restaurant inside one of the old buildings lining Lincolnway in LaPorte, IN. We went here for the first time on Easter for brunch. I had the Monte Cristo, one of the best I've ever had! My fiance had the Pulled Chicken Hot Brown and said it was amazing. For drinks, I got an Easter Mimosa, which was perfectly sweet. He got a Hey Rhu-Barbie that he said was delicious. We were checked on by different people a few times; you can tell they care about customer satisfaction. We will definitely return!“

“This is our favorite place to go for our anniversary dinner (several times!). We've never been disappointed! We drive 2 hours to go here. We both love the French onion soup. My husband wishes they'd put their duck back on the menu, but he still enjoyed his ribeye! We would recommend this place a hundred times over!“

“The fajita bowls are so delicious and I love the zucchini and summer squash they use. The chips are the best! After a mix up with out to-go order getting canceled and accidentally picked up by someone else they were able to make it right and gave us some guac on the house.“

“I had never heard of this pizza place in LaPorte until recently, but this is my new favorite and go-to in the area. Regular Pizza was delicious, taco pizza too. Toasted sausage raviolis and pizza bread are great also. Server was friendly and tentative. Prefer over other local pizza places I have had.“

“The food here is so good. Saucy, hot, large portions! Egg rolls are not those itty bitty things that look like spring rolls. They're big and full of flavor. Honey chicken is my favorite. And Singapore chow mei fun! Great lunch plates for cheap too.“

“Old school Southern style BBQ. Very good stuff! By the time we got home my bun was pretty saturated with the amaze balls hot BBQ (beef) but the bun actually held up! It was sooooooooooo good! The pea salad was the best I have ever had. Close to what I loved in MS but way better. My friends had the platter and Mississippi nachos. They loved everything. We WILL be back!“

“The better wing stop of La Porte. My only complaint is that there is no host at the front. You have to wait around and hopefully catch the eye of one of the servers, who will seat you after they've helped their existing table. Food is good & service once you've had a seat is good.“

“Very neighborhood bar feel. Waiter knew many of the people at our table though it was my first time there. Great service from staff. The food was soooo good! I can't eat anything fried and so I went for a grilled chicken sandwich and it was delicious. Cooked perfectly with great seasoning.Dietary restrictions: I can't currently have anything too high in fat but was able to find a grilled chicken sandwich that was perfect. The flavor was great. The chicken was cooked perfectly not over done or rubbery like most places. Nice and tender which is perfect for a sandwich.“

“Love Wok n Roll. They have been a welcome staple in the community for years. They are quick and efficient, polite, the food is good and decently priced.Just ordered last night and was highly satisfied. Pork egg rolls (highly recommend dipping in the dumpling sauce), Szechuan Chicken with house special fried rice, and shrimp fried rice. All delicious, plentiful, and reasonably priced for the sheer amount you get. Egg rolls were super crispy and delicious, and the added custom extras in the shrimp fried rice were delicious and plentiful. My family will continue to frequent for this consistently good eat.Vegetarian options: Lots of already made vegetarian options and they are willing to customize.Parking: Big parking lot. I wish there was more lighting but I don’t think the restaurant owns itDietary restrictions: Lots of vegetarian, vegan options plus they willingly customize dishes.“

“My friends and I were in town for a paintball tournament and ended up getting to the restaurant shortly before closing. The wait staff were very courteous and welcoming despite our poor timing, and with them right off of a crazy dinner rush as well. The reception, the waiter, the live musician, everyone was on the top of their game in setting the ambiance as a warm and classy establishment. The kitchen clearly takes pride in their work as well, as everything was delicious. Even the plating was gorgeous! I have to give a shoutout to the Southern Surf and Turf dish: the sauted veggies and garnish they used on that was insanely good, and it really made the steak pop in a one-of-a-kind way. When they placed our steaks on the table, the aroma from my plate had the whole table looking jealous. Finally, the chef is extremely friendly! He was walking the floor to make sure everyone was enjoying their meals and to chat with the patrons. He's a really cool guy and you can see his passion for his craft. We may be out-of-towners, but we're marking this as a spot to return if we pass by again. If you're traveling in town to play paintball or fish the lake, make sure to pack some decent clothes and swing on by this place.“
