You will not find better Scotch Eggs anywhere. Crisp, cold beer. Great experience here, as always. Lunch or dinner, Lafayette Brewing is a must stop if you’re in town. Our waiter, Victor, was very nice and attentive.
We randomly walked in for dinner and were seated immediately. The server was a really close talker, like basically on top of my husband. He recommended a couple beers that were mediocre and forgot to put in our pretzel appetizer. My husband and I both ordered the bison burger and was disappointed when it came on bread instead of a bun. My fries were also room temp at best so it seems to have sat for a while before making it to the table. My bread was toasted and his wasn't....
I will start with the good news about recent visit last Saturday. The Bloody Mary's are excellent and a great value. We had the Pesto Melt and the Mamma Mia and they tasted very good. That is where the good news ends.
On our prior visit we had a female server who was attentive and knowledgeable. She got a very large tip.
This past visit not so much. Our server was very nice but he was not a good server for the following reasons.
