A Local Institution, McCord's provides a unique and eye catching experience in the Main Street scene. Loved by children and adults alike, there is something for everyone. Dairy Free or Gluten free items do exist around the store, but the chocolates are not DF. Dylan did an outstanding job helping me craft several styles of client gifts and they were able to fill a rather substantial order within a few days of submitting. So nostalgic! This place hasn’t changed much since I was a kid except I would say the atmosphere is more welcoming. The drinks are wonderful and the selection of candy is impressive. And they still make the classic McCord’s candy canes!
this is my boyfriend and i’s go-to date spot! they have ice cream, candy, and (our favorite!) flavored sodas!! we’ve tried virtually every flavor, but have deduced the dr pepper not neat as superior!! the staff is always friendly and they carry the best candy ever (squashies!!) so it’s hard to complain. this is a lafayette staple, and we recommend it to everyone we know!
