It's been awhile since I've been there.the service is okay fairly quick and friendly. The food however hasn't stood the test of time. The brisket was a tad dry and the rib tips tasted bland and a little hard on the bone, may have been parboiled first. Definitely not the food I've come to love before COVID.
It's been a long while since I've eaten here so I decided to drop in for an early lunch. The ambience is the same roadhouse vibe. Unfortunately the blues music has been replaced with a TV. Since my last visit other BBQ joints have opened so comparisons are inevitable. I ordered the Kansas City brisket sandwich that is served with a big fried onion ring and provolone. I used to get the tenderloin, then I found the Kansas City. Brisket piled high with onion rings and provolone on a brioche bun. Add their sauces and you have something magical. I use all of the sauces and eat my sandwich over my fries. After my sandwich I have brisket and bbq fries. The fries are amazing on their own. I never leave hungry, plenty of food for the money.
