“We have made the trip from the Peru area by boat almost every Saturday this summer. We enjoy the outside seating, the food, the friendly staff and the price. The owner and his family have worked hard to make this establishment a unique and inviting environment. We have tried many items off the menu and have loved every single one of them. My boyfriend’s favorite continues to be the brat in a blanket and mine is the pork nachos. However we have tried most specials and we give rave reviews to the ribs! We recommend this place to all our friends and we will continue to come back.“

“We had the pleasure of meeting Ella and Kensie at a wedding recently. They were in charge of the food. We got a chance to speak to them and they told us they work here at Moon Dog. We had a rare Thursday off, so we decided to pay them a visit. Both girls are absolutely lovely human beings! They were so kind, professional and wonderful! Their service was top notch. The food and drinks were outstanding! And what an amazing atmosphere!!!“

“Beautiful historic building. The rooms have been modernized but kept the charm of the history. Comfortable bedding, very friendly and helpful staff. Lived having the wine bar, restaurant and ice cream and candy store in the building. Staff in those shops were also wonderful.“
