“This was our first time here, and we got there unbeknownst 2 mins before closing. But Darnell welcomed us with open arms anyway. He was our server, host, cashier, busser and bartender. Let me start off by saying that he is such an awesome person with the best attitude and great recommendations. He made a delicious margarita ( the best I've ever had-margaritas are my favorite drink and I'm a former bartender/server for years) and the food was also on point. It came really hot, fresh and quick. We ate everything on our entire plate! The establishment was very clean and welcoming. The people next to us were first timers, too and they were also impressed and complimenting. We all left happy and full. We will be coming back and bringing more people to see him. Thank you for the great experience. We can't wait to share this place with our friends. Darnell, you rock!”

“our first time here and oh my gosh the food was amazing I wanted the language dinner they had like what tacos they don't have Lego dinners but guess what Joel did our service said no problem we're just going to have to make you dinner the meat will be chopped in little squares cuz it's for tacos but is that okay for you I was like really you're going to have a dinner for me thank you so much and he got it with my sauce already my husband got his food and oh my gosh amazing come y'all come get some of this great amazing true authentic Mexican food located in lake station Indiana thank you guys our first time in Shirley will not be our last”

“I put too much sauce on the chili Riano and it all dripped out into the bag on the napkins on the fork everywhere it was underneath the box and everywhere they put too much juice so they should’ve wrapped it up with something. The lid was even open.”

“Have been going here since they first opened. Would just go for ice cream, paletas, or agua frescas. Now they're officially serving food! Elotes, tacos, burritos, guisado, burritos, and more. Happy they were able to expand with a food menu because everything I've ordered has been amazing. Most recently for Mexican Independence Day they did a pazole special and it was so delicious. A home cooked meal made with love can't compete. Thank you ladies for all you do and I will continue supporting and recommending your business for as long as I can. Oh and don't forget to compliment the plants! They appreciate the love too 💓”

“I really enjoy this dairy queen. i find its spot convenient and easily accessible. The only thing i would recommend to them is to build a wheel chair ramp. Thats pretty much it. I really like the ice cream and the service. Hope this helps :)”
