A friend wanted to visit the Overlook after church a week ago so my wife and I drove out there from Jeffersonville to do so. We arrived around 2:30p. It wasn't a long wait and we were seated at a corner with windows facing 2 directions which was nice. We started with some onion rings which were crispy and tasty. Be careful how you eat them. Our very attentive, thorough and friendly server, Jess, couldn't have been more professional. Needless to say the views were wonderful and entertaining. The food- I ordered the beef Manhattan- was delicious, flavorful and fresh but more than I could eat. We didn't have room for dessert but they offered plenty of fresh choices including a pecan pie that was a special today. Should have taken a couple of slices home.
