Char-Bett's is like many of the "old time" kiosk stores (think Dairy Queen and A&W Root Beer stands). Until recently, they were a cash only enterprise, which is a large part of why I seldom dine there.However, I had some cash this evening and stopped in. We looked at menu for about 5 mins I ordered a Shrimp basket: 14 breaded Shrimp, french fries and a drink. And my husband Greg Brown ordered a Double cheeseburger basket: dbl cheeseburger, french fries, and a drink. Total was like $20+ tax. While we waited for food we sat and did our scratch off tickets.
