We went here for breakfast for my husband's birthday. Oh, where to start? The food? The drinks? The service? Ugh. Let's start with beverages. I ordered hot tea, and my husband ordered coffee. The waitress (a thin older woman with a pixie cut) said to my husband, "Would you like cream or sugar?" He declined, and she whirled around and walked away as I said, "I would like sugar." She brought the drinks, and asked if we were ready to order. My tea bag was already in the mug of hot water over-steeping, and there was no spoon with which to fish it out. I told her that I needed sugar and a spoon before I could order. She brought the sugar and a spoon. There was nowhere to lay the wet teabag... no saucer. She was not off to a good start. Then, our food came. My husband had ordered an omelet and home fries. (They were out of the corned beef hash, even though we were there early in the morning and the place was empty.) He was served hashbrowns instead of home fries, and the omelet clearly didn't have the eggs mixed well at all and it was thin. Large patches of egg whites made it look unappealing. I ordered a half portion of biscuits and gravy, eggs over easy, and bacon. The bacon was overcooked and crumbly, the eggs were fine, and the gravy was disgusting. It was oily and SWEET? Thinking I must be losing my mind, I asked my husband to taste it. He made a face, and concurred that it was sweet and nasty. The waitress never did come back to ask if the food was okay. Never came to see if I needed more hot water for tea. She did ask my husband if he wanted more coffee when she brought the food.
The dining room was freezing! The decor was bland (which doesn't really stop me from enjoying a good meal), and the tables were extremely far apart. So if you like private conversations (I do) that part works. It would be be described as "stark." There's definitely no coziness to the place, which disappointed me as I tend to like for a breakfast meal, especially.
When checking out at the register, my husband was asked how everything was. He related that the meal as just okay and that the gravy was "nasty." He wasn't offered so much as an apology, let alone a refund for the inedible gravy. All the cashier said was, "Really?"
We will definitely not be returning, or as my husband put it, "This is definitely a one and done." I wish it had been a none and done!

Unfortunately I had a bad experience i noticed a cockroach 🪳 crawling across floor which is whatever I notified waitress even killed it discreetly so no one noticed I get it restaurants will have from time to time but then while eating one crawled across my daughters plate so I believe the problem is pretty bad I immediately got up and left it's to bad because I love supporting local businesses....

Not a fan of leaving bad reviews but, our first visit to Morning people was nice. Great service and decent food. Our second visit (6 months later) provided the absolute worse server I have ever encountered. Food was OK, single cook, does a pretty good job of keeping up. The long brown hair 30 something server was simply not meant to serve in a restaurant. I think every table she "served" had to come to the counter and ask, for water, coffee, or whatever because she did attempted to check on her tables. She sort of stood in the corner of the counter, drinking her drink till someone tracked her down and asked for service. We do not plan to come back.

First time we went we had a great experience. Good food, friendly service. The last time we went we waited a LONG time before we got menus and drinks then had to flag someone down just to take our order. Once our food came out no one checked back to see if we needed anything else or if everything was ok. The service has gone downhill quickly. Food was still good

I really like the down home atmosphere of this cafe. I've tried the Western omelet and the pancakes platter so far and loved them both. Big fluffy pancakes as big as your plate! The western omelet was loaded up with ham, onions, peppers, cheese and more. The coffee is pretty good and always plentiful. They stay open for breakfast past noon, and have lunch specials as well.
Parking: Large parking lot in a strip center
Wheelchair accessibility: Easy to get in and out with plenty of seating options.

Finally got to go yesterday. Had the BLT added egg, & "potatoes". Bacon & potatoes (shredded hashbrowns) were cooked perfectly. Waitress was on point, asked for OJ & got a water delivered as well, I think she was reading my mind! I'll definitely be going back!

Do not eat here. We came in, waited for probably 15 minutes finally got to order and each one of our orders there was an item they were out of. Out of Swiss cheese for omelet, out of bagels for breakfast sandwich, out of orange juice, ect. Got our food and Hash browns were not cooked and tasted like dirty dish water, omelet was greasy. Only thing that was good was the bacon.
Eggs cooked perfectly and service was wonderful!
