Van's is a local staple. The food is okay and worth what you pay for it, but it won't knock your socks off. It will, however, leave you satisfied with a good country fare meal. The wait staff tend to be underpaid so you should expect to tip well as part of your meal.If you are a local, you should leave some time for talking to other locals at this watering hole, because you will likely see someone you know. They lose points for not serving breakfast all day. But you can't really beat them with a stick. Not to mention milkshakes and ice cream being seasonal only? I don't understand that either. The hash browns are wonderful.

What a wonderful time at Van’s after visiting Marengo Caves. The food was delicious but their vegetarian options were very limited. The decor and ambiance was very relaxing and homey. The apples were amazing.
