“OMG.... I do not like doughnuts. The only ones I ever liked on occasion was from the bakery that closed in Monticello. However my husband finally got up there and bought a dozen this morning. Let me tell you what, Absolute perfection. Soft, buttery, not overly sweet just perfectly balanced. No where around including Dunkin have anything on these. This is an absolute must try. I'll be buying these to send in for all my kids class parties, and brunches.”

“Very cozy, family run, the food is amazing, I got the sloppy joe grilled cheese and fries with banana bread to go, when we drove back through the area, we were going to head back for dinner, but the were closed. Food us delicious! We will be going back! The take out banana bread was in a clam shell with a joke on it :) This place is great! Want to go back for the other desserts!”

“As I have discovered the small town of Francesville due to working at the school, I had to find some lunch spots. The first one I had to try is this burger, hot dog, gyro, Italian Beef spot. I walked in and I noticed fresh-brewed sweet tea, which is a rare occurrence in the Midwest. The lady asked where I was from and I told her Alabama! She told me she lived in Alabama and her husband has family in Alabama. But enough about that, you are here to read about food. I went with the Sloppy Slaw Burger with fries and a sweet tea. This was a fresh and well-made hamburger patty! But what stood out on the burger for me was the chili. The chili had a lots of flavor and a sweet taste! The burger also had mustard and slaw on it to even it out. My fries were cooked hot and fresh! They do sell sauce to dip fries in. I did ask about the BBQ sauce and the lady did share it was not made in house. My sweet tea was satisfactory....for Indiana but would have been weak anywhere south of the Ohio River. Overall, fresh homemade burgers with hot fries ... Clyde's is a not only a good but terrific lunch spot in Francesville.”

“Stopped in after a trip to Four Winds casino in New Buffalo Michigan. Loved it! A few locals in the joint. Everyone was so friendly! My husband and one of the locals had the same New Orleans sweat shirt on. We had just gotten back from Biloxi Mississippi and New Orleans. So, had he and his wife. Great conversation! Excellent food! Might be our new favorite place for after gambling grub!!”

“First time ordering from Rods even though I live in town. Pizza was great and I love the fact that if you didn't eat the cheese pizza before the cheese got cold, if you lift a slice up you lift the cardboard too. Thought that was funny when I shared the slices with my coworkers I do wish, however, if the hours were a little earlier. I was told it's a family owned restaurant an you didn't open till 4-4:30? Sometimes I'm craving pizza at the end of my shift at 2 and I find that sucky- however I'm patient enough to wait till yall open”

“THIS is the hub of the Francesville nightlife universe. When you come in, you re always greeted by some of the handsomest patrons to ever order up a shot and a beer. The chef's fare is on par with any other roadhouse within 300 miles. If you don't stop in, its your own fault.”

“This is not a normal Subway. It has a whole other menu on the other side of the restaurant with pizza and Stromboli’s and everything. I had the famous Italian beef sandwich. It was probably the best sandwich I’ve ever had. Incredible. The flavor was out of this world good. 5 stars and 10/10!!!”

“It's getting better with mobile ordering available. Still haven't been able to get any chicken fries I used to love, as most of the time they are either cold or warm and chewy after being under a heat long to long. It's not just this burger king but everyone I have been to too. It's a gamble. However I have liked ordering via the app and point system.”
